Make it a good one.

Good Morning CruiseMates!! It feels good to finally have the details ironed out for my cruise. Just the pre and post hotels to pick. Work for me today. It is supposed to be sunny but chilly. The foliage is in full bloom with vivid colors this year. Went to a chocolate tasting party last night. I thought I died and went to heaven. I hear Dr Atkins scolding me. Work for me today. Have a great day all.

Won't be long before we gonna close up and head for Port Canaveral. The Sov of the Seas awaits our boarding. This will be a very short one. Gonna bug our Grand Daughter who is getting married at 3 PM on the beach at Jetty Park. The Park is only around the corner from the Ship. The ships pass right by the Park on their way out to sea.

Good morning from Orlando. The chocolate tasting sounds great Laura.
My son and I went to a college fair last night....a good chance to pick up some brochures and ask questions although he seems pretty set with his picks of Univ. of Ga, Florida State, American U (Washington DC....we go visit next weekend....can't wait) and Univ. of North Florida where his sister is now. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Good morning Trip, Laura and all the CM's to follow. TGIF, for sure! This was just such a trying week. Today is my first day that should be somewhat "normal". However, I am starting it off with a visit to a dental specialist to determine how to treat a nasty infection in one of my molars. I've had two root canals on this tooth and literally have the price of a cruise invested.
So, today we decide if I want another root canal (with the possibility of this flaring up again down the road) or one of two surgical procedures. Of course, extraction is not an option for many reasons.
Yesterday, after the funeral service and lunch, I came home and crashed for over two hours. I guess I was exhausted. I hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend.

Mornin' everybody,

Finally, it's Friday, and I got a bit of good news yesterday. There's going to be an opening for an electrician in another plant, and I'm hoping that I'll be on the top of the list. Most of the older guys are already at this facility (can anyone say "retirement home"), so I've just got to wait and see what happens.

Tomorrow night we are going to a Mexican restaurant to celebrate a few birthdays and anniversaries in our family. The last time we did this, it was a noisy affair with lots of jocularity.

Sunday, I'll have to sit in front of the TV to watch the Bills play. Ugh! I'd much rather watch the games live, but the commute to Chicago is not in my budget. :)

Have a great day and a fabulous weekend! (Let's Go Mets!)

Good Morning from Central Texas where it will be a little cooler today. Today I am teaching 6th grade math. Can't wait for it to be over with. LOL

It's been a long week, and some things going on that I can't talk about yet, but keep me in your thoughts today. I will tell you as soon as I am aloud. Does not involve hubby, but my youngest son.

Take care everyone. Those of you with younger kids. Hold them longer today. Before you know it, they are grown. LOL

Good morning, mates. I awoke with very sad memories this morning. It was 5 years ago today, just about this time actually, that my sister and brother-in-law were killed by a drunk driver. My sister was the matriarch of our family, even though she was only 55 years old. She was my "mom", my conscience (and goodness knows I needed that LOL ), my traveling companion, my best friend. All of our holiday plans were always at her house, with us working side by side. I have lost a lot of family, but I believe I have had the hardest time adjusting to this loss. I guess with all the others I turned to her and there just isn't anyone there now. Thanks for listening.

Have a good day. (Doug, I need your picture this monring LOL )

Good Morning All,

So foggy - but it is supposed to burn off.

Sorry so many Mates are going thru so much right now - I'm thinking and praying for all of you (MaryLou, Karen,Sue,Ready,Luanne,Ed...)

Laura - tell us more about this chocolate tasting party - sounds intriguing.

Finally got caught up on paper work here. Now I have to go to work to finish up paper work today that should have been in yesterday's mail, but I had to have this done first. Ugh.

Not much else planned.

Hope you all have a great start to your weekend,

"Friday, Say it Loud", Trip says. Well, it's Friday, but I can't say it at all! I still have no voice, a horrible cough, sore throat and chest congestion. I am taking another day off because what use am I if I can't talk?

I'm thankful it's only a virus that will pass. Mary Lou and Ready and Luanne, it sounds like you all have heavy hearts today, I'm thinking of you.

I think I will spend another day resting, drinking hot tea with lemon and honey, and watching endless hours of LOST on DVD!

Good morning from sunny swfl. I am no fun either this morning. We might run into a problem with our oldest daughter and if we do there is no one to watch our kids while we are in Africa. This would mean we could not go.

I am too depressed to write, have a better day mates.

Good Morning!!! Nasty Nor'easter blowing through the area, lots of rain and street flooding. I have been assigned domestic indoor duties today (which I may eventually get to  ).

Best wishes to those who are having a tough time this week and prayers to all.

Everyone have a great day and here is someone who wanted to say hi:

Good Morning cruisemates! Cooling weather in Calgary.. with highs in the 50s F.... and maybe some snow showers overnight tonight.

I'm off on a Costco run this morning for supplies for work. Not too long before this won't be on my list of chores.

We've decided that the windup charity fundraiser for the hotel will be called "A Black Tie Farewell".

Everyone will be given a tuxedo t shirt at the door as they enter autographed by the Premier of the Province who is retiring at the same time.

Mike M October 6th, 2006 11:31 AM

If you have any extra t-shirts you should bring them on the Century cruise. We could have the fashion police in a seizure. LOL (kidding)

Take care,

Friday. Say it Loud
A late good morning from Southern California.

Say it Loud! I switched closets yesterday! Don't you think I put it off long enough? LOL Looks strange to see all those dark colored clothes when open the door.

Laura, the chocolate party sounds yummy.
My sympathies go out to Mary Lou, Ready, and LuAnne.
Kat, I had a Tot pf beer last night with my chicken. :)

Have a good day, CM's.
