Default late Tuesday Night

Hey friends, I had to leave work unexpectedly, at about 11pm (CT) with pains ripping through my right side. After a side trip to the hospital, it was determined that I had a kidney stone making its way through my body... OUCH!! After a nice, healthy dose of morphine, I settled down and was sent home to my sister to recup. So, I did not make through the first week.

Sorry to hear that Michael. Kidney stones can't be helped. Hopefully you will be back on the job soon.

Sorry about that buddy. Like Dina sez, there isn't much you can do about those, and it certainly didn't have anything to do with your accident. Just hang in there, and it'll get better soon, and feel sooooo much better. Yep, been there, and done that!

The kidney stone will take your mind off the other pains your body is going through!

O.K. that's not funny, I'm sorry this has come your way, but they know what it is and "this too shall pass!"

Michael, drink tons of water and if there is a next time, which I hope there isnt, tell them you want demerol 50mg with 12.5 mg phenergan then an hour later pretend like it still hurts and ask for toradol 60mg. you could pass a bowling bowl and wouldn't know it! Never seen Morphine used for kidney stones these days but I guess it worked. Did you go to the doc in a box at Walmart?

Oh Michael, so sorry you had this happen on top of everything else!
Kidney pain is nothing to sneeze at! Take care, rest, and take your meds, and hope all will be well soon!

Default Late Tuesday Night

I agree with rescuedad. A friend just passed a couple, and they gave him those meds.
