Hello Liam,
The cruise was fantastic and booked it for next year in September.
My daughter had a ball and wants to go back to Alaska.

Looks like we will have 17 people met on that cruise and booked again.

One couple will be on their honeymoon. Guess the poor guy just could not take it from all our pestering and got the ring.

Met a lot of great people. There were a number of them from Southern California and decided to have them over for a barbecue. 20 people came and one flew in from Hawaii to attend. Now that is one expensive hamburger.

Came very close to booking a New Zealand cruise, but the single supplement price was out of reach.

I'm doing well and thank you for asking.

Thanks for the update Steve.

I notice that the Stanterdam is doing the NZ Australia run this year and it was in my port today.

Maybe that exspensive burger should have been a shrimp one? (thats an ozzy thing)
We usually just have bangers (lots of), burger patties and steak on bread with fried onions and tomatoe sauce down here. (should I run for President )
BBQ season has just started and should be a good one. Come on down? Teehee...

The single supplement is still my major hurdle for me, $5,000 approx (10 night) for a single's down here on the local cruises.

Good to hear you are well and still cruzin!

Steve,

I have a dear friend who has lost his cruise partner this last year. He at this point can't picture himself cruising without her. I have been trying to get him to book, because I think she would have wanted him to keep cruising.

I wish you would write an article about this subject, and let my friend know that it is okay.

Luanne

Glad to hear you're doing well Steve, great about meeting folks and the barbeque! :-)

This cruising single business you all know is a pet peeve of mine, I'm always talking about it! I've had 3 letters published in Cruise Travel.

I won't let it stop me though and the main reason I work for Manpower at Abbott's to get those extra bucks!

I, too, want to get to Australia and New Zealand but will wait a few more year until I stop working.

I have two big trips booked for 2007/2008. I'm just biting the bullet on the 2008 So. America one and paying the supplement. It's with RCI so not as bad as Princess.

My 2007 Med is with Princess, a single share which they have now discontinued I hear. I went with the share because the way they figure the port taxes sends me over the edge.
