Default What do you want from Santa?

What is #1 on your list? besides health, happiness and family. Maybe Santa is a cruiser and he reads these boards. You never know you might get what you want! The reason I ask is cause I have no idea what I want so maybe hearing some of yours I might like it too so let's hear it! Oh also, one of the wants cannot be a cruise. Thats to easy! Wait I just thought of something. I need new ski pants for my Jan and Apr ski trips.

Hmmmmmm. I know I have been very good this year, so let's see...

Maybe a trip to one of the nicer Day Spas, with tips included, for a full day of "no worries!"

Thats a good start. Those day spa things are great I hear. would you prefer that over something material. I still don'tknow what to get my wife and that sounds pretty good.

The Day Spas are really nice and have a wide range in prices. I'm sure they are higher in your area, but $350-$400 here would get you the works for the entire day, usually including lunch. I have lots of "stuff" and have a tendency to go buy whatever I want in the way of clothes and shoes, when I want it. Don't want anything for the house.... again, for Christmas? I think not! Jewelry is always nice, but how much can you wear at one time? After you have so much, so many of the pieces are sitting in the jewelry box for long periods of time, as you alternate the items you wear. I don't know about others, but that has always bothered me. I have my favorite pieces and those are the ones I tend to wear each day. That is why the Day Spa works for me!

Default What Do You Want from Santa

I have a list of books and CD's. But what I really want is an Apple laptop computer. The day spa sounds very good, too.

I hadn't really thought about it before, but I would very much like to have my basement and basement stairway re-carpeted. Santa, are you listening?

We have agreed that our Christmas cruise IS our gift from Santa Claus. A ten day cruise of the Panama Canal from Acapulco to Puerto Rico is not exactly a stocking full of ashes or coal.

Thus I think it would be selfish to have another wish, except maybe that we get to acapulco at the same time as our luggage and that we have a safe and pleasant voyage.

Amen to that, Chuck. I pray for the same thing for our December-January cruises. I would add to that no illnesses or accidents.

First of all, hello to all of the cruisemates. I have been absent for a very long time and am happy to have returned. My family and I are cruising again in mid December and the cruise is our present to each other. I have missed being here, but I am in grad school now and very busy.

Welcome back to CM, Terri Ann. My true wish for Christmas is that Gary be able to find a job without too much trouble. He should be out of a job by the end of the year. Probably just in time for our Century cruise. I hope we can relax on that cruise and then hit the ground running when we return. Other than that, I'm looking forward to Christmas just to spend time with the kids and to have more than one day in a row off from work!

I guess what I would really like for Christmas, since I can't have a whole house remodel, would be a vacation. It has been a long time since I have seen the sea or sand, and I need it, badly. I like gifts, but prefer experiences.

My wish from Santa would be to have a long and healthy life. My wish is to make the Century mark in our lives. Counting.

I would like for Santa to reward me with a 100 acre ranch in Colorado with a mountain and forest view, complete with 4000 square foot home with lots of windows.

I've thought about this for a long time. Year after year goes by and I never get what I want. Everybody wants health, happiness, friendship, prosperity, blah, blah, blah............yech! All I want is a fruitcake!

Nobody else wants one but I do! Every year they get passed from house to house, never earning frequent flyer miles, but does one ever make to my front door? NO! Dammit!

Regards,
Thomas

Mehawk - you forgot to ask Santa to supply a window washer too. With all those windows your longing for, you will need one.
