Default Heading on a journey...

November and December are turning out to be interesting months for me. I got notice from work that I am to leave on a four-week business trip on Sunday. I'll be spending a week each in Missouri, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Utah.

The first week I'll be working the 7:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. shift, too...
I need my sleep so that will be very hard on me! At least that part will only last a week. I'll just have to pretend I'm on Australia time or something.

I had to go buy a new coat. Too bad I don't ski!

This Florida girl's going to deserve a cruise after this!

Cheers,
Michelle P.

If I'm figuring right, at least you'll be home for Christmas ... and then our BIG cruise meeting. Lots of luck with the weird hours.

Have fun Michelle. When I first started reading your post, I thought right away you were going to Europe or some exotic place. Good thing you have some warm clothes for those cold places. I'm glad you'll be back in time for the cruise.

I was so afraid you were gong to say you'd have to miss the cruise! So glad that you will still be cruising with us, can't wait to meet you!
Meanwhile, find a good warm coat, tough it out for a few weeks, and that cruise will feel great at the end of it!

Something tells me Michelle wouldn't miss that cruise for ANYTHING!

Yep, bundle up, Michelle and if you get the time, give us reports from lands far away....

OH MY! Don't the "powers that be" realize that is no-man's land during the winter? Very poor planning on their part!

Be safe and be warm and just keep thinking "Caribbean...." Aaahhhh!

Wow, Michelle, I reacted to a month-long business trip as very unreasonable. Then I remembered my husband going to Misssissippi for three months!

Wow, kind of a busy time to be on such a long business trip, and certainly when you are not traveling to the warmest of climes. I'm sure that it will be very pretty tho' and that you encounter enough snow to put you in the Christmas spirit. And just think how much more you'll be longing to board that ship!
