It is 23 right now, a dull day out there. A light cover of snow blanketing the ground.
Got caught up on the paper work, but broke the washing machine so laundry is still piled up. Hope dh has a minute today to fix it up. He got home about 7:30 last night, ate and went right to bed. Already has had one call this morning - gotta love it when the phone rings at 4 a.m.
Off to church, then probably just do some house work or start my christmas cards today. I need to make an organized list of what needs to be done and what I need to buy and what I have bought. I seem so much more disorganized this year than usual.
Good Morning from beautiful downtown Lakeland, Florida. The lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I had a fantastic time last evening with the Central Florida CruiseMates, and as usual, can't wait to get back together with them all again. The next time will be extra special because it'll be aboard the magnificent "Century", so we're really "ready to rock-n-roll".
Morning All, from a dull, gray, lightly snowing Montreal. It's -4C (24F).
The plan for today is to put up the Christmas tree. Ever since my son was little, the "tree date" has been Dec. 1st (since he always wanted it up the day after Halloween, I had to put a date on it!) So this being the nearest weekend to Dec. 1st, that's the plan. Daughter has also been invited over to help, and the two of them can argue, as they always do, who's turn it is to put the star on top....
Ken, glad you enjoyed the CruiseMates dinner. Can't wait to meet all of you on the Century, I'm counting down the days!
Good morning from Southern California. Absolutely gorgeous here if you don't mind very low humidity and red flag fire alerts.
Can't believe the time to board the Century is so near. Next thing you know, I'll be complaining that I can't get everything in the luggage! And then the next thing you know, I'll be complaining about having to get up at four in the morning to go thru security at LAX! And then the next thing you know I'll be posting "Good morning from Miami!" But who will be home to read it? We'll all be on the Century!
Good morning from Fl. where the weather is heavenly. Wish you could all come down and enjoy it. At least a lot of you will when we take off on the Century cruise. Hope we aren't having a cold snap at that time.
Jake ended up in WI this last week and weekend where he's freezing his "buns" off. I almost flew up to join him, and now I'm glad that I didn't.
It was great to meet and greet the central Florida gang.
matching the faces with their messages sure makes it easier.
A really wonderful friendships has grown through the love of cruising.
Thanks Ray for posting the photos.
a few more sleeps till we all meet again.
I can hardly wait.
