Default Key West "Margaritaville" CM Party

I have arranged another special perk for the "Sail of the Century" cruisers. Anyone* who stops by Margaritaville, in Key West, between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. can order any drink** off the Island Drink menu or ANY non-alcoholic drink during this time. This will leave plenty of time to return to the ship for a five p.m. sailing time.

You MUST show your Sail of the Century key chain to "receive" the drink. The key chain will be included in your "Cruisemates Goodie Bag", that you will receive at the sailaway or the first night of the cruise. There are plenty of keychains for everyone so don't worry about not having enough for everyone.

Here is the link to the Margaritaville Island Drink Menu. Island Drinks

Stop by and enjoy a libation, or two.

*Must be 21 or older for alcoholic drinks
**Uptown Margarita is excluded

I just spoke with Damon from Margaritaville and he told me that Jimmy and the Parrotheads are playing "that night" at Margaritaville. Too bad we won't be there.

I think we should turn Rollerdonna loose to see if she can find him.

Take care,
Mike

Carole,

If he's "hanging out" who knows, we may get a glimpse. 8)

I guess it's going to be one heck of a party but we're going to have our own on board.

Take care,
Mike

Margaritaville is about 1/4 mile from the cruise ship dock. It is on Fleming street.

Margaritaville
424 Fleming St # A, Key West, FL

Take care,
Mike

Default Jimmy B in Key West

Hey, you all that are going to margaritville.
The real Jimmy B is NOT there.
He is spending the holidays with his family.
The band that is playing is Jimmy and the Parrots, not the Buffett band which is named the "The Coral Reeffers"
His last concert tour was in Tampa, I was there.
He mentioned that that was his last one, and heading to the mountains with his family.
Sorry to burst your bubble I sad to.

Bummer:

Damon didn't seem too excited when he said the band was "Jimmy and the Parrotheads" so that could explain why. They wouldn't be playing until that night. Bummer.

I still think we should put RD on a "Find Jimmy" mission. Who knows she may come back with him.

Take care,
Mike (We don't need no Jimmy)

That will depend where the ship docks.

Hopefully we'll be right by Mallory Square, but some ships dock out at the Naval Yards too.

Found out the ship DOES dock right by Mallory Square. PERFECT!! Walk off and you're in town.

And only about 5 blocks to the frozen chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick
