The Upgrade Fairy is alive and Well!!

We just returned from 11 nights on the MSC Lirica and had a Very Nice surprise when we checked in. We had booked an inside guarantee and were given a Balcony!!! The ship was not full but they must have had a lot that wanted and inside.

The cabin was very nice, even a tub in the bathroom.

I will be doing a revie in a couple of days.

Great! A similar thing happened to us on the QE 2 a couple years back. Wound up with the biggest cabin I've ever seen. And of course, al of us going on the Century and Liberty were upgraded, too. Nifty!

I love the upgrade fairy she once upgraded me from a ocean view room to a balcony suite. It had a jetted tub

When we walked into the room my hubby was said "that's a small window." I said "Dude, That's not a window it's a door." then we did the upgrade dance which is even more fun then the doc dance.

We just got back yesterday after a few extra days in Miami & I am estatic to report that the upgrade fairy visited us on Carnival Victory.

We had booked a room (cat 8C room 8343) and when we checked in they told us we were staying in room 7295! Hubby thought we were down graded & why would it change when our docs said 8343...the response was "we would never down grade, only up grade".

You should have saw his face when he saw the room...upgraded to cat 12 - penthouse suite!!! If it wasn't for the bottle of wine on the counter, he wouldn't have believed it was ours. I think he is spoiled now for suites

We have been very lucky with upgrades, but not this time.

we do have pictures but I am not sure we have any of the balcony...but it is double wide of the regular balcony rooms. I just need to get the pictures uploaded to the computer

lets see....there were 3 or 4 loungers, 3 chairs and 2 tables...I think.

Must have drank too much becuase I am having trouble remebering. But I do remember there was a whirlpool tub

that I was...the loungers are not the long ones that you find at the pool...more like the relaxing chair ones (I realize that I am not making much sense...lol) kinda like a chair at the lake.

Man, I hope someone knows what I am talking about

I tried to post some pictures in the photo gallery but it seems like a lot of them are too big
