Default Rum Cakes

RayB,
The Rum Cakes arrived safe and sound.
Lasted about 15 minutes.
Best cakes I've had in a long time.

Ray,
Glad you enjoyed it, I think you are the second person I've known that actually likes Rum cake.

I love those rum cakes you get in the Carribean if those are the ones you are talking about. Now if you're talking a kind of fruit cake.......that's another story.

I sent a large one to Iraq. Jim said they ate it with nearbeer, and watched a football game. He said it was the best time.

Had some rum cake in the Grand Cayman Island last year. In fact, I wanted to bring some home but they evaporated before we reach Canada. Must be the cold weather

Phyll,
Not like a fruitcake in my way of thinking.Less fruit and nuts, more RUM!
Ray's granddaughter bakes them,if I have that correct!
