We set out "not so early" this morning to hit some areas of Miami we hadn't been to before (Hertz "never lost" is great for this stuff).
One stop on my list was Pitman Photography Warehouse, as I've been wanting a new telephoto lens for the camera. Punched the address into the machine, and the car told me where to go.
As we drove, we passed some shopping spots that looked interesting, and thought we'd hit them on the way back.
After doing my thing at Pitman's, and buying some new toys, we found a HUMONGOUS mall in Coconut Grove somewhere. All the biggies... Nordstrom's, Macey's etc and what seemed like miles of other stores. I had been mentally prepared to be a bag buggy for Mrs Kuki. Sale signs called out from every direction, but alas her shopping gene seems to have gone missing.
I found a shirt and some socks, yet she bought one lonely pair of slacks, and we headed back to the hotel. I felt her forehead, and there seems to be no fever. I'm not sure if I should be happy, or ready to hide the credit cards and beg when we hit St. Thomas.
This evening's plan is to head down to South Beach.. stroll, and grab some dinner at a nice spot on Lincoln Road.
