For those of you staying at Amerisuites for pre or post cruises, I am going to give you a hint, that might save your back, and maybe a fight with your spouse.
Several years back when we arrived there, they had no staff to bring suitcases up to the rooms..They had the luggage carriers, of which they had 3...!! When we called down, to have our luggage brought down, they told us they had no carriers available. WHEN we asked where they all were, they told us, probably in people's rooms!! By now you all know I overpack, and have luggage the size of Rhode Island, so Bruce had to shlep it all down himself, cursing all the way.
OK, fast forward, to last week check in, they now had 4 carriers in the lobby, so the last night there, when we walked in there was ONE ..we joked we should bring it up...At 5 am in the morning Bruce woke up, and brought it up to the room, for our check out...There was none that busy Saturday, when many people stay there for ships leaving Port Everglades.
So, if you DON"T want to do this all yourself, & if you want to save your marriage, and your back, take my hint to heart....As part of the Hyatt family now, I know they can afford more
