Default What is today?? Tuesday!!

I see I am the only one up right now so... Good morning to all of my Cruisemates friends and especially those on the Carnival Legend. Houston has 38F and clear. Nice weather to cuddle in and sleep well .

Nothing planned for today but sleep. I am looking soon to move back into downtown but want the right place at the right time.

Have a great day!!

Good morning from a much less smelly NYC Although I worked in the area affected by the odor, our building has a modern air exchange system and they shut the air exchangers down so, unlike some other buildings we didn't smell a thing. According to the Fed Ex guy it was pretty bad smelling.

Everyone have a great day!!!!

Good morning from Orlando. It'll feel less like summer today since our high will only be in the low 60's....I know...I know, how do we survive?

Mornin' everybody,

Thought I'd stop in to say hello, and say I'm still alive. It's a busy place here at work, so I don't get as much computer time as I'd like.

Just to fill you in on MIL, her chemo dropped her white blood count down really low, so when she caught a bug, it put her in the hospital. She is doing better now, but she won't be released until her blood count gets up. So any scheduled chemo is how on hold. Thanks for all your prayers.

Have a great day!

Let's Go Buffalo!

Good morning all Cruisemates:

Eddie, sorry to hear about your MIL...prayers being sent her way.
and I'm glad you posted again today.

Chilly here this morning in Toronto. I might have to put the fleece lining back in my coat.

Well, volleyball starts tonight, can hardly wait. Haven't played in awhile looking forward to it.

Back to work now...have a great day everyone.

Good morning from swfl...I have finally bought our plane tickets last night to Germany. It is expensive but as usual NWA came through for us. I like the planes also, each seat has a TV and my daughter will love it. We took the same type of aircraft to Africa.I also reserved the house in the mountains and I am looking forward to walking to the bakery each morning at 5am and get some freshly baked goodies.

Today I have to do some stuff around the house. I am also preparing for our oldest daughter to come back<long story> I can't wait to see my grand children as I have not seen them since mid december.

Everyone have a wonderful day!

I'm up earlier than normal today. DH leaves at 6am and since I stirred, decided to rise and shine. I have a busy day ahead. Today is MIL's 101st first birthday. I'll cook a special dinner tonight and few people will come over to help us celebrate.

Everyone have a great day!

Morning gang,,,
We have a beautiful sunny but chilly day here in the bottom right corner of Va. But it's supposed to warm back up by the weekend. Hey we have daffodils in bloom already.
Well I am in full blown PCD,,,been off the ship for 5 days today. This really sucks,,,

Morning All, from Montreal, where it is a more seasonable 0C today, with some flurries in the forecast. Still pretty green out there though, and positively "balmy" compared to what we're used to in Jan.!!

Eddie, sorry to hear about your MIL. Went through all those ups and downs with my mom 2 years ago, it's hard on the family. Prayers and thoughts are with you....

Darlene, 101 yrs old? Wow, that deserves a party! Wish her Happy Birthday from CruiseMates!

Angela, saw your cruise pics last night. Of course you would take pictures of the chickens in Key West!!

Doug, what smell? Did I miss something?

Have a good day everyone!

Good Morning All,

Back to more seasonal weather - it is snowing and about 30 out. My brain can't wrap around these weather changes. It doesn't know what season it is - spring, winter, summer. Some people have had sap running and have been making syrup since November. The buds on some apple trees are trying to open. Hopefully (even tho' I'd much prefer the warmer temps, I know it isn't good) winter will settle in and things will return to norma.

Sons girlfriend called at 6:30 this morning - she had gone off the road and hit a stop sign. The lady she is living with right now picked her up and brought her to work, but I will get her at the end of her shift, then take her to pick up her car, then we will get it to the body shop, then to where ever she needs to go next.

Doug - glad you were able to dodge the "smell"
Ed - sorry about your mil- hope she is feeling better soon
Darlene - Happy Birthday to your mil - that is awesome
Sue - glad you have your Germany trip all planned.

Well, gotta get moving. Have lots to do today.

Wishing you all a nice day,
NCL DreamCarnival Victory

Good morning everyone:

Doug, I'm glad the odor didn't cause any problems. I guess there will be a run on those little Christmas Tree air fresheners today.

I actually went sledding with my granddaughter. We went to a small hill on the back of the property and grandpa gave her a starter push and she went down the hill on the saucer. It's a good thing she can walk up it. After that we fought the "snow wolves" all the way back to the house. Kramer makes a great snow wolf.

Today will be just laying around the house and taking it easy. It's a good thing snow is soft. I think I fell every time I pushed her.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Take care,

Hi Kids,
The cruise cold I got is still doing me in I am dragging, but have to go to work tomorrow, regardless. It's sunny and chilly, and I don't want to go out, so I may bead or read....It's that kind of day....

Make it a good one.

Trip, with her book & tea!

Good afternoon from sunny Florida. It's a nice cool 70 degrees right now. I spent the morning with my little "god child" and the Head Start group at the wild animal rehab nature center. It's a great place, and a great day to walk around looking at the animals.

Ed, I'm keeping your MIL in my prayers. It's so hard to go through all of that.

Sue, glad to hear you got your airline tickets. Nice short countdown too.

Darlene, Happy Birthday to your MIL. That sure is reason to celebrate!

Doug, I was thinking of you yesterday. Glad you missed the big stink.

Take care everyone.
