Good morning, Michael and all the CM's to follow. It is a wet day in the "Burgh" also...but warmer with a temp of 37. It hit 50 yesterday, which was wonderful for a change. There is more snow in our forecast for tomorrow/weekend. Will it ever end? I hope you all have a great day!

Good morning from Orlando. Michael, I also have the "pleasure" of commuting in the opposite direction of the heavy traffic.
Last night was the honor society induction which was very nice and my son being the devoted water polo player that he is, he wore his Speedo under his suit and tie and made a beeline for the pool when dismissed from the ceremony, got there in the mid of the 3rd quarter so he went behind the bleachers and got out of his suit (cue Superman music ) and was able to play in the end of the game which they won! So for him it was the perfect day!
Hope everyone has a great day!
It's a warm morning here in the Finger Lakes region of New York, where it is already 31F. Some of the snow is melting, so I've got to remember to buy some windshield washer fluid for the truck. The salty spray from the roads make it hard to see without the washer going.
My daughter is busy filling out applications and documents for her upcoming trip to Ecquador. She is going for two weeks in May. It is a school excursion to work in the the health centers in Quito and in the rainforest. It is a wonderful nursing and life experience for her.
My son is doing okay so far with his kidney stones. (fingers crossed!!)
Almost warm here at 21 degrees, very slight breeze and a bit of sun. Snow showers predicted for tomorrow and off and on all weekend - Monday we are to have a mix of stuff headed our way. Hope it comes early as Tuesday I have to drive back to Burlington for an orthodontist appoint. and one with the oral surgeon. If it is freezing rain I won't be able to drive the two hours each way - would be prudent.
Meeting went well last night, the matter pretty much resolved itself on Sunday, so that was good.
Today I continue with the never ending battle with paperwork. Also need to try and think of something for supper - so sick of the same old thing.
Morning All, from a bright, sunny Montreal, presently at -13C (around 10F) but heading up to a high of -4C (a more pleasant 24F). That's the warmest it's been in a long, long while....
Yesterday's fieldtrip was blessedly short. We watched the presentation at the planetarium (all in French) then went back to the daycare. I found I could not put my head back and look up and enjoy the show, because it made me very dizzy, especially when things started spinning! Still suffering from Labrynthitis apparently, but medication keeps it under control.
Angela, your story of Jimmy doing his Superman thing was funny - what a visual! Did his team win?
Good Morning Everyone,

Morning from the Pacific Northwest..........wow did we have a weird day yesterday.......rain, hail, sleet, snow......all within a few hours.....was strange to be driving in the rain & then everything was white with snow.....at least it was all gone in a few minutes......back to normal today...
Ditto Michael's weather for Baton Rouge.....and do you think he is trying to rub it in? I think we can all see the tickers, plus he didn't invite any of us! Just teasing Michael, have fun packing this week!
If you are going to walk on thin ice, you may as well dance!
