Dancing With the Stars!

On GMA they just announced the stars who will be participating in the Dancing With the Stars! WOW!

Shandi Finnessey (a former Miss USA), Paulina Porizkova (a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model), Clyde Drexler, Apolo Anton Ohno (olympic speed skater), Laila Ali, Heather Mills (ex Mrs. Paul McCartney), Ian Ziering (90210), Billy Ray Cyrus, Vincent Pastore (the Sapranos), Leeza Gibbons, Joey Fatone (N'Sync).

I can't wait!

did they really say Heather Mills; it will be interesting as I thought she had a prosthetic leg and frankly, I have two good legs and I couldn't do what these dancers are doing.

Yes, Heather Mills! I'm sure they want to show that even though a person has a prosthesis, they can still dance. It will be interesting. And I agree, I can't do it, with two sometimes good legs! I just love this show and just dream of being able to dance like that.

Last yr,when they announced the line up, I had not heard of many of the people..and, as the weeks passed, I grew to enjoy many of them

This year I know many more, but I have to groan....I hope I change my mind.

As far as heather Mills is concerned, she may be able to dance up a storm, but America adores her husband, and, I don't think she will win the popular vote, even if she dances like Ginger Rodgers!

Some of them sound interesting,,,but Geezzz Heather Mills??? I'm with Trip on this gal,,,,but then I loved the Beatles,,,,

Hey, Michael Jackson owns all the Beatles songs and needs the money to pay lawyer bills don't be suprise to see Heather Mills dancing to 'Help!'

My adult daughter and I watch Dancing with the Stars every week - she even records it so we can rewind and watch the best parts again. We went to the DWTS tour when it came to Minneapolis-St. Paul in January. It was amazing to see an entire arena of people just mesmerized watching them dance. Of course, our favorites were Drew and Cheryl. They were unbelievable.
Can't wait for the new season to start, but do not think that Heather Mills will be one of my favorites.

I'm counting the weeks until "Dancing With the Stars" comes back, as well.That is one show Trevor and I watch together. I can't say I'm overly impressed with the dancers, either, but maybe I'll change my mind, too. At this point, nobody can top Mario or Drew, or John, for that matter.

A remark was made in the paper, I think, about using Beatles music. The writer thinks NOT. That's a shame-because I've grown up with that music, as well. We will always love Paul--"the cute one"--I never had any interest in Heather before,either.

Billy Ray might fool us-Leeza Gibbons may surprise us. I hope the same professionals return--Trevor thinks Cheryl is the best one.

I'm disappointed that the show will be on opposite Prison Break and "24". That was my Monday Night Line-up. Now, what one(s) will be recorded!!?

I'm surprised with the Heather Mills choice as well. I can't see America embracing her either. It will be interesting.

As much as I detest reality shows, Marj got me hooked on dancing this past season. Being a devoted Cowboys fan

she of course voted early and often for Emmit Smith. Unless Sir Paul's settlement money brought one hell of a prosthesis for Heather I do not see how she could hold up in competition, although I give her credit for trying. I do not think she will do well in the voting becuase in the divorce she has come off looking like a gold digging shrew. She also has quite a questionable past.

I can't wait for the show. It always amazes me how much the contestants improve. I know it is with MANY hours of practice, but still! I reserve the right to change my mind after seeing them dance, but I think Laila Ali is going to come out strong. I think her athletic ability will give her an edge. The only problem may be whether or not she is very limber. All that muscle may be a hinderance. Let's DANCE!

I think the people running the show are brilliant!!!!...Millions more people will tune in to see Heather which will give them a huge rating increase

The cruise connection is this..don't think some smart promoter will not charter a cruise ship for a week and have a dancing with the stars theme and it will be a sell out and they will be able to charge a 45% premium

I can't wait to see Dave the Wave and Brittany dance on the Freedom of the Seas !!

Now for THAT, I would pay the 45% premium! Also, DTW will have to shave his head to match Brittany. We don't want hair to be a distraction!

actually, I think it would be in reverse..If Brittany got her hands on Dave The Wave..remember Dave The Wave is closer to getting his AARP card then he is to Brittany's age (VBG)
