Default Off to Land "The Big One"

I am waiting for my chauffeur (nephew) to arrive and I will be whisking 250 miles north to the icy waters of Lake Winnebigishosh for some ice fishing. The "pop over" ice house, auger, poles, tackle and all the assorted ice fishing materials are packed and loaded into the Suburban.

I'll be gone for the next five to six days, depending on weather, and the time we get our rears home.

I'll take a few pictures and show how "real men" fish.

See ya next week.

Mike

I don't think they know the meaning of "wi-fi" in that neck of the woods. Plus the computer is staying at home. I would be ostracized, short sheeted and other hideous things done to me if I brought a computer. Heck they might even shave my head. Oh wait, I already did that.

On second thought: My buddy is bringing his laptop so I can wipe his hard drive and re-install XP for him. His kid got into some nasty crap and the "Geek Squad" wanted to charge him $225 to do it. It's about 40 minutes of time while we play cards. He just has to tell everyone I caught the biggest fish.

Take care,
Mike (Who is NOT a fan of "The Geek Squad")

Default Off to Land The Big One

Brings back memories, Mike. I used to go fishing with my dad on Lake Byllesbye just outside of Cannon Falls.

Anyway, have a good time.

Mike- We don't need to go fishing for ice where I come from, the icemaker in my kitchen makes enough.

Have a great time!!!

Hey Mike, I'm probably too late now, but I'll wish you good luck ice fishing anyway. I went ice fishing once with Tyler when he was in Beavers (pre-Boy Scouts). It was the coldest, most miserable and boring afternoon I've ever spent! Hope you enjoy your trip more than I did!

Are you trying to do a "Tanguary" commercial?
