We will be in St. Maarten this winter. I know the island has both a french and a dutch side. We were preciously thre years ago with out kids. This trip we will be with lots of familys and children. Does anyone recommend a good beach. I know the french side has mostly nudest beaches. But I am guessing since there are so many tourist that the beaches will be more of a mixed enviornment. I appreicate your help.
We are also planning on doing Paradise Island in the Bahamas since we have a few in our group who would like to swim with the dolphons. Is this something that we have to book in advance? We do not wan to go through carnival we would like to go on our own.
we took water taxi right at cruise ship across the bay, five dollars per person, can go back and forth to ship as much as you want. Great beach, play park for kids, a stones throw from philipsburg so you can shop and go to market. I think beach is called great bay. Lots of people , busy beach, lots of families, no nudists.
