Is It Still Thursday??

I just got home from work a few minutes ago and have eaten through a bowl of lukewarm stew. It should have been nuked longer.
It's is currently 82 and overcast here in Avon Park, FL. Trevor thought he just heard thunder. I didn't notice, although there are some dark clouds around and we're due for some rain by tomorrow. Our temps will chill down to the 70's.

Our facility has had "the virus" this week so very limited activities as residents have been confined to their rooms. They are now getting about slowly but surely. You know they are feeling better when they (my assisted living people) want to go down to the main dining room for their meals. Confinement and food trays are no idea of fun for them! . They were getting cabin fever--especially the ones who haven't been sick-YET.

Yes, it IS thunder!! The first possibility for rain in several days.

We have about 30 1/2 weeks to go until we cruise on the new Emerald Princess!

Michael, I haven't posted much on your threads but want to let you know that I kept tabs on your recovery and progress and am so happy for you, and Sandra, that you are pretty well mended. You have certainly been blessed with healing so quickly. Always--good fortune to you both.

Luanne--I've been thinking about your son, a lot--the aspiring actor. How is he doing?? As I mentioned in one of my posts-my son is going to LA for a screenwriter's workshop in April. He's really excited. The point I want to make is for your son to pursue his dream--if possible and practical. If Jamie gets a possible transfer with Verizon to Irvine, he'll at least be in the arena.
