Morning All, from Montreal, where I'm up extra early to attend yet another professional development teacher workshop! Have to go downtown for this one, I hate going into town!
When I get home later today, I have to start packing for California. My cousin tells me it's in the 80's so that will be a nice change for me. I'm happy because it's +2 this morning (35F!)
Good morning RD and those who will follow I have not been around for a while. Busy with family and church. Grandkids are with dad now in another state. Wow that was a tough week for me.
My dh had reserved a cruise for us for next month but I don't think we can go because of the kids. But the price was very good. My girlfriend is on the Wonder right now with her entire family. I cruised 3 times on her so she wanted to see if she likes it too! Its her first cruise.
My father is crusing to Norway in April from germany and this will be his first one too.
The Apostle Paul once said: When trials come count them all joy: Well, I am just full of joy!
Have a wonderful day mates. Oh we are considering going back to Africa on a missions trip in September. Now that would be the answer to my prayers.
Take care mates!
Dec 9th 2015 Land cruise to Germany and Venice Italy
June 1st 2015--- Denali Explorer Cruise on Star Princess!
Good morning from Central Texas where it is a spring morning, I think!
It's still dark outside.
Today I am teaching a program that you have probably heard about in the news. It is called "Worth the Wait" I love the program, and look forward to today.
I have good news and bad news. Which one do you want first? Okay the good news is that Jim will leave his location on Tuesday, to make his way home. The bad news is that it is the most dangerous trip. Roughly 50 miles and it might take 4 days. They want to make sure he is at the airport by Monday to catch his flight to the states. He might get lucky and go straight there, but all this time is needed in case.
Well, time to go to work.
Everyone have a good day. Sue, thinking about you, honey
Things are a little messed up around here. We will have to put off our trip for a few days. One of Betty's go workers had emergency surgery yesterday and she has been asked to put her vacation on hold. The company will reimburse her for the expenses plus an additional amount for the inconvenience but it could be at least a week before we can go. This is a HUGE monkey wrench into a few of our relatives plans. Especially the cousins who were planning on taking a couple of days off to accommodate us.
I'll be on the phone, in a few hours to work out the details. I guess it's time to put some clothes back on the hangers.

Getting ready for a yard sale next weekend, so things will be very busy around her for a few days.
Mike, I'm sorry your plans have had to change. How aggravating! I sure hope that Betty's supervisors appreciate her.
Sue, You're in my thoughts
Luanne, Jim will be home before you know it, "on the wings of a prayer." He is always in my prayers.
The good news about getting ready for the yard sale is that my DIL is in charge of it! That means I get to keep Ms. Emilie entertained. Tough job, but someone has to do it!

Good morning from sunny Southern California. When we arrived in Costa Mesa yesterday at 5:50, it was still 84 degrees.
Wonderful evening we had. Chita Rivera is absolute magic! Oh, and so was the sea bass with I-don't-know-what-the-veggies-were-but-they-were-good-too. I mentioned to Keith that "A Chorus Line" was comng back to Southern California. He'd like to see it, which surprised me.
Mike, sorry about your trip plans being scuttled. England, was it?
Donna, I wish you a safe trip to CA.
Luanne, I wish a safe trip for Jim, too.
Darlene, have fun at the yard sale.
Good afternoon everyone. I've been down by the waterfront to watch the waves and the surfers this morning. What a great place to take a walk!
Luanne, I'll be keeping Jim in my prayers. How wonderful that his homecoming is getting so close now!
Sue, you're in my prayers too.
RD, have a safe trip to CA. I'll be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers also.
Mike, I'm sorry to hear that your trip had to be postponed. I know that you are a pretty flexible guy, but it's still got to be a pain. Maybe a little grandkid fix will help you to cope with the disappointment.
Hang in there everybody and hug the ones you love.
