yeah today would have been a beautiful day (and weekend if flights can be arranged) to drop in on Rescuedad and break in the pool HIH style.
We'd have to blindfold the kids and plug thier ears. Take away all sharp impliments from Joe's DW. I'll pack my bikini.. I don't think I'll need anything else. We'll have to flip a coin on who gets the couch and who gets the floor .
Guess that means I get the bed!

Yeah, Darren! Where is the party? And I want to go! My kind of place!
It is on the Columbia River, in central Washington. It is on a small sand Dune/spit basically out in the middle of no where. On the 3 big holiday weekends in the summer the place becomes party mecca. About 300-500 boats and a couple thousand people crammed on and around it partied all day long.
For those that use Google Earth here are the coordinates

Our condo is about 8 miles north of this spot.

What is a rootball palm tree? I have coconut, christmas, foxtail, robellini and royal palms. If this answers your question, the avg coconut palm of decent size which means about a foot and a half of trunk is about $250. The big coconut trees in the corner behing the spa would probably run about $1500 at their current size but I planted them 3 yrs ago!

Michael, neat pics! Did you ever cross paths with Capt. Maurice Cook? He is retired captain of the Texas Rangers. He came to work at the college I retired from, head of our Crminal Justice Dept. He has lots of stories (as you can well imagine ).
