DTW.... It's a joke! The rich use a ton of energy and tell us to use less. Then they justify all the energy they use by saying, they buy Carbon Off-Setts. Which is Company that they pay to plant trees or some such rubbish. I guess you have to be a news junkie to get it.

An interesting note to this was how INefficient it is to make the batteries that these green cars use. Always more to the stories than they want to tell us.......

Thx 4 the grinz T-C

My carbon foot print was only 28675 tons a year, so I bought a bigger truck.

Actually I think one contributes more by flying than by cruising, so cruise away.

After the winter we just had I am considering showing my support FOR global warming.

All I know is that John (owner of 5 planes and a private runway) Travolta is the latest celeb to tell me to install solar panels and buy a hybrid car or start walking. Limos need not apply. Oh yeah - cruise ships foul the ocean waters.

Ya! Subtropic..... I read the John Travolta story. Did you see the pic of his gigantic house in Fl. with the huge planes right up against it with thier own private awenings to get to the plane in the shade!
He has his own runways on the property! I wonder how much HEAT those black top runways put out! Along with his 5 count them 5 planes!
Damn hippocrites!
