Help with the Countdown Clock
HELP, HELP, HELP
As you'll see from my signature-I only finally got this far after several attempts at putting in the info for my countdown clock for this year's cruise. I would appreciate it if one of you "experts" will get in and finish it for me. The information is correct for October 23, 2007 aboard the Emerald Princess. We leave at 5PM.
The My Ship Has Sailed is for last year's cruise, I believe. My friend tried to help me but that is the sign that came up-she kept losing the date when she hit submit.
Really, I'm happy to get as far as I did--I thought I'd lost my rose for a minute when two letters were deleted from that link, but I remembered from before that it was gif.
Thank you immensely to anyone who comes to my aid.
Lynne

Here are instructions to put a Cruisemates Countdown Clock in your posts.
To insert a clock into your posts you can follow these steps to place it into your "Signature". Once in your Signature it will appear in all of your posts that you have made and will make.
To access your Profile just click the Profile in upper, right of the screen. This will give you a screen that looks almost identical to the screen you received when you registered. About 2/3 of the way down the page you will see a box marked "Signature".
Lynn: I am unable to access your profile...so here is the next best thing:
If I can do it, anyone can. Good luck.
Insert the EXACT text below into the signature. This will give you a clock that says you are sailing on October 23, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. on Emerald Princess.
Code:
[img]/countdown.php?month=10&year=2007&day=23&hour=16:00[/img]Emerald Princess
To make it your own change the month from 02 to the month you are sailing. The 2006 to the year you are sailing. 09 to the day your are sailing and the 16:00 (military time) to the hour you are sailing. Change the ship name to the ship you are sailing. The numbers and the ship name are the only things you should change.

Lynn, I cannot access your profile either, only you can do that. But just follow Mary Lou's instructions and you will do fine.
The only change is the time, your's would be 17:00 (5:00) not 16:00.
Copy this:
[img]/countdown.php?month=10&year=2007&day=23&hour=17:00[/img]Emerald Princess
Good luck!

Lynne,
You made a valid try. It's now fixed. Take a look at it and you'll see the correct format.
Take care,
Mike

Thank you, Mike--I was getting frustrated! I kept changing it in the signature-then got a note that my signature was too long, then I had it in there twice, along with last year's Carnival clock. I played with the highlighting and copying and pasting and kept getting two Emerald Princess clocks and "Emerald Princess" between them.
I believe you saved me last year, too! Thanks to all for trying to help. I did realize that you couldn't get into my profile, as my other friend told me that, too. That's why I cried for help--someone from behind the scenes had to do it. As I said, I did learn how to do it on the old format and had all the instructions for it.
Once again, thank you, ALL. With the number of days and the 30 more Fridays to go, I can countdown more accurately---and---I can tell Trevor every time he asks me!!!!!
