Hey Sis.....I know you're going to Disney Land.......but I go to Disney World! My brother lives out there and he has never gone to Disney Land! I think there is something seriously wrong with him. He is too busy chasing women! Hey Sis, he's single!

Hmmm brother would be 44 I think. How do you feel about older men? He is a furniture buyer for a company there.....he works and he plays and manages to do both quite well! Cute, yes he's cute, just don't tell him I said so!

He likes to take trips to Mexico, Jamaica and Cuba. Saints football is his passion! He has one son, Brandon, who is in the military. He keeps an immaculate home and redecorates regularly. He can cook "Southern". On a bad day he likes Heineken and a good cigar (he smuggles Cubans back). On a good day he likes Heineken and a party.

On a different subject.....yesterday I was flipping through the mail at home when I saw a letter addressed to the youngest child. It was from her elementary school. I brought it to her and we were both confused until she opened the envelope.

It was a letter she wrote to herself in 4th grade! The childlike handwriting made me cry. She isn't my baby anymore. Back then I was her hero....not today! Anyway, the letter spoke of her teacher and how much she loved her. She said she was so glad the teacher made them work hard until they got it right. The teacher enclosed a letter to her congratulating her on her high school graduation. She also invited her to visit the school. It was a bittersweet day for me and an exciting day for Kaitlyn.

Hey Sis!

During the week I am a Family Support Program Specialist, which is a suit wearin', briefcase carryin', auditor for the State of Louisiana, Department of Social Services. I audit the contracts our agency holds with businesses across the state. The businesses provide services to the citizens of Louisiana....mostly low-income residents, but not always! I travel the entire state and can count on spending at least 5 nights away from home each month. However, I do set my own schedule regarding travel.

On the weekend, I stay with elderly people in their home so they do not have to go to a nursing home. Usually they require minimal assistance....most are quite wealthy. I am currently staying with a retired college professor and his artist wife. His DW had a stroke and is slowly recovering. They are wonderful people and we have a great time cooking, running errands and going to church. They have developed a deep attachment to me and really do not like anyone else there. I am currently working with another caregiver to try and ease the transition when I am gone for three weekends in May. They like this caregiver, who also happens to be a college professor. I have this job because it brings me great joy. I feel like I'm giving back. The new caregiver definitely does it for the same reason. My couple have caregivers during the week, but they only work 12 hour shifts. They also have household staff for cleaning. I stay at their home from Friday night at 7 til Sunday night at 7. I am supposed to work three weekends and then have a weekend off. It hasn't been that way for quite some time. I've been at their home for a minimum of 24 hours every weekend. Most weekends I'm there 48 hours.

Melody

Crazysis says don't do anything she won't do so Mel it looks like everything is completely open. Mel your side job sounds really interesting. Our Grandmother is 93 years old and lives alone. My dad, aunt and uncle set her up with a live in caregiver, but Avo (grandmother) waited until they were out of town then fired the caregiver. Avo prefers to live alone.

I was bored at work today. No bills just updating Excel sheetspreads for the new fiscal year. See how you are bored. I came home and looked at my new passport. I have driver license pics that look better. Now I'm thinking of exercising to lose some pounds before cruise. Hey yours is less then a month away.

IDK, Will hasn't been on the other board either. I got a PM from James about his grandson (who lives with them) and he is exausted. Michael sent a PM, I hope he feels better soon.

Let's see what are we gonna do tonight?
