Today I officially become a resident of Lakeland Florida. I found a place to live. Yesterday after having lunch with my cousin and her husband we went for a ride. We drove in to an apartment village. I decided to go in and ask if there was a vacancy. There was and before I knew it I was being whisked away in a golf cart to look at the apartment. I liked it and asked for an application. It only took a few moments to fill out and I turned it in. They had me fill out more papers and we left. We were in the car about 10 minutes when my cell phone began it's cheery rendition of "When The Saints Go Marching In". It was the leasing office telling me that I was approved. WOW!! that was fast. Today I move in.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
You know, after all the mayhem you and Lilly have been through, a little good news is in order. Congratulations on finding a new place so quickly. I don't live in Florida, but I know that the Cruisemates who do will welcome you and Lilly with open arms. It's been my experience that our Southern friends are the most hospitable people around, and that you will feel very welcome.
