Patty came to me in September. As the leaves exploded in color. Thanksgiving was coming or as Patty called it "Skibbin" I was baking breads and steaming suet puddings to freeze for the holidays. Patty of course helped me. We passed many pleasant hours baking together. Finally "Skibbin" arrived. We spent the morning together cooking the feast for our dinner. That afternoon as we gathered at the table to eat Patty wanted to give the prayer. We all held hands and listened to Pattys prayer. She did not leave out anyone. Solemnly she asked for blessings for us all. At the end of her prayer she intoned.........God Bless the Father.......the Son .......and the Holy Goat.
Gotta love her, one of the joys of my life.
