My youngest brother (age 42) Chuck just emailed me. He has been suffering for migraines for a couple of years now. He got one on Friday that has not gone away. He went to the hospital yesterday. They did alot of tests and took a CAT scan. They found some "scarring/shadows" on the outer portion of his brain. He needs to have more extensive tests and see a neurologist to determine just what is there.
On top of this, my sister in law, his wife, may need a hysterectomy. She is 39 years old. Luckily??, they do have one child, a 12 year old boy.
Prayers and good thought winging their way to your family.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. He is still suffering slightly from his migraine so he hasn't made the neurologist appointment yet. I'll keep you posted on what's going on.
We were in the stages of planning a small 50th anniversary party for our parents but until we get my brother's and SIL's health straightened out, we have decided to put it on hold. Now we need to come with a reason/excuse/white lie to tell parents. The party wasn't a surprise so we need to come up with something. Right now this is the story we may use--since my mom wanted all her grandchildren to attend, we are going to tell her that we need to change our plans because my son can't get the time off from his new job. (he does have the time off since he made them aware of the days he would need when he was interviewed and hired.)
