Morning All, from Montreal, where it looks like it might be a nice day after all.
Our daycare is headed "up north" today, to visit a Bee Farm. If I remember correctly from a few years ago, there is also a petting farm, which was far more interesting than the bees! Praying it does not rain....
Friday is here already, it was a short week. No big plans for the weekend yet, but with so much going on in Montreal right now, the choices are endless!
Good Morning from Lakeland FL. So busy lately, got my phones set up last night. I Have been putting it off for way too long. When I got through hooking it up I still had my NH number and it was working. I considered leaving it there so my NH friends could call toll free. I decided to get it changed to a local number and called in to have that done. So now I am officially a "Lakelander" I got my cell phone done over the weekend. I had been using it on roam since I go there because I still had the NH number. Slow but sure things are falling into place. Work today and I am back in the classroom, boring!! Have a good day all.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
It's a foggy morning here in the Finger Lakes region of central New York, where this weekend, the Indy racing league hits the fabled track at Watkins Glen. Sorry if I sound like travel guide. I listen to the radio too much, and it's getting pounded into my brain.
Not much planned for tomorrow, maybe I'll get out in the garden again and plant some more flowers. The deer have done a number on the plants again.
Sunday, we have our church choir picnic, which is a fun time had by all. It's at one of the tenor's house, which is about a half mile from my house. Makes it very convenient!
Happy Friday all!!! Our hot tub finally got wired up yesterday, we had our first dip in it last night. We have the temp set so it is more pool like for the summer. We are
Hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Trip to Burlington went well - the rains held off. The appointments were long and unpleasant - over 4 hours, but at least they are behind me and I am one step closer to surgery. Unfortunately they will be checking my blood two more times prior to sugery, so - hopefully the levels will remain in the normal range, as I just can't go thru all this prep work and then be told I can't proceed with surgery a second time.
Came home to a houseful. Spent the evening playing badmitton and made a fire in the firepit for smore's and son made Banana Boats.
Trying to get the house in some sort of order - which seems impossible, then have to drive daughter to work, go and do Bible Study with friend. Then one of the nieces wants to hang out. Will have to get caught up on stuff after the weekend once both nieces are gone.
Have a great day all
RD - bee farm and petting zoo sounds like my kind of place -hope the rains hold off and the kids have fun
Good morning from Orlando. Our bags are packed and we'll be leaving soon for our quick cruise. YAY!
RD, somehow bees and petting zoo don't sound like they go together!
VTJen, one more step out of the way!
Good Morning cruisemates! The Calgary Stampede starts today.... and its the first time in 30 years I'm not up early rushing to work to get prepared for the onslaught of revellers.
I don't miss the business, thought I'll miss today because it was always such a great party.... as the paraded ended at our door. No doubt many people will walk by that building today, and have some great memories (if the can remember them )
Temps are heading to the 90s F today, and I'm celebrating Stampede by going to the golf course
It will a nice, hot, ninety degree day here in the land of 10,000 lakes. There is really nothing on the agenda. Betty is adamant about painting the house herself instead of paying someone else to do it. She says she can do the overhead work and I can do the stuff up to eight feet. Half of the house is over 20 ft. high.
It really doesn't need painting but she wants a new color. Sometimes I worry about that woman.
