....and I thought the weekend had begun without me as a lot of the usual suspects were not waiting for the train at my station this morning.
Quiet days at work are about to come to an end as our end-of-fiscal year follies are almost upon us. This year it is new territory as I do not know my project officers, and therefore don't know which ones are, well intellectually challenged. Should be a fun season handing out your tax dollars .

The storms have passed - we are quite soggy - we have had to drain several inches off the pool during the last few days. And have a few more to drain off today as well.
The stress level - for me contiued most of yesterday. I am hoping today will be calmer. I am not really sleeping or eating right now, and I know this is not good for me just a few days shy of surgery. I gotta get my act together, and some how rise above the drama that everyone in my immediate proximity seems to be involved in.
Gonna work from home for a couple hours, then head to the office the same time I bring my dd to work, to save me extra running around. Then hope to get home in early afternoon and work for a bit in my rose garden.
Good morning from Central Texas where it is a very warm morning. Now that our rain days are over, we are drying out, and soon people will be begging for rain.
Joe called at 2:00 this morning from California. As soon as he heard my voice, he must have realized the time difference. All I remember saying was are you okay? He said yes that he wanted to let me know about his day. I told him we would talk today.
I have no real plans today until Jim calls from work to let me know more details for the trip. I guess then is when I go into high gear.
Everyone have a good day. Doug, thanks for the pictures every morning. Jen take care you are always in my prayers.
Not much going on today at work, but halfway through my shower this morning, the power went out. Luckily, there was enough sunlight to allow me to get dressed. (Although DW often says it looks like I get dressed in a dark closet!) I manually opened the garage door and moved DW's vehicle out so she could get to work. The last time this happened, it was winter and we had to run around with flashlights. At least the sun was shining.
Good morning friends. Another hot day. Guess summer is here to stay.
Starting to make plans/reservations for our trip to Tampa in August. Tony and I are driving our daughter's car down. She is flying down a few days later. I'm actually looking forward to the drive as I have never done it before. We will be stopping in North Carolina to visit with Tony's cousin and his wife. This will be the last summer I have to take a kid back to school.
