Default Anyone Booked Yet For 2009?

Ok Kids, what do you have booked, and if not where do you want to go and on what ship?

For me, I REALLY need a Southern Cruise. I hope the powers that be, will dream up a GREAT Cruisemate's southern cruise for all of us!

14 Feb 09 for 8 days on the Freedom to Panama. It's our 30th Ann. and I am taking the wife to Panama. I was stationed there in the mid 70's.

Nothing book yet. I never book another cruise until I finish the one
I am going on soon. I like to give all my attention to the one now.

For your "Southern cruise," are you looking at Australia, French Polynesia, or the tip of South America.

As for us, no schedules out for 2009. We will probably take a two week cruise to either Europe, Asia, or Australia.

Trip I am always looking...lol. I want to do an Alaska cruise along with a cruise to Hawaii...My daughter is graduating from Nursing School in May of 08 and I've promised her a cruise immediatley after receiving her diploma...she will be ready I'm sure. We'll probably do the Carribean and on Carnival of course. I guess I'm one who doesn't like change as I've never tried another cruiseline. 09 may just be the year I try to do at least 3 cruises.

I'm looking at 2009 for one. I don't think we can do one in 2008. Family reunion and other things. I've started checking out 2009, but so far they only have booking available for spring of 2009, nothing further out than than. Just have to wait and see.

As soon as we are back from our cruise in May of 08, I am looking for another one for 2010. 2 years apart is good for me. Probably the Southern Carrb. We have only done Carnival also. I do love that cruise line.

What is best...booking with a Travel Agent or Carnival? We have done both and I really like going through Carnival so far, but of course we haven't gone on this cruise yet. I don't know what the final price will be until August or maybe Sept. That is when the discounts are all applied.
What are the perks of booking early? Do you get more perks, better rates, up grades and discounts by going with a Carnival Vacation Planner or a Travel Agent?

Not yet Trip, but that doesn't stop us from looking! I too, would be more than interested in a Southern Caribbean itinerary, especially if it involved other CruiseMates! Maybe we could host together??

I am in the process of talking with my TA for a cruise the week of February 26 (2009) out of Galveston on the Voyager of the Seas. I already have about 8 people coming with us to help celebrate my 60th birthday.

For once, I have nothing booked and not really looking either! Until I get moved/organized that is the way it will be for awhile!

A couple I met on my 2005 transatlantic are doing a great trip in 2009,
on Princess, I think, Sydney to Sydney, 28 days! End of March into April I believe.

I would love to do it but finances will be tricky for 2 more years until I'm 62 and even trickier if I can't get this mobile home sold!

But I haven't ruled it out either, Australia/New Zealand are high on my wish list!
