Nothing booked as yet but I am keeping my eyes open for something interesting.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Trip I am always looking...lol. I want to do an Alaska cruise along with a cruise to Hawaii...My daughter is graduating from Nursing School in May of 08 and I've promised her a cruise immediatley after receiving her diploma...she will be ready I'm sure. We'll probably do the Carribean and on Carnival of course. I guess I'm one who doesn't like change as I've never tried another cruiseline. 09 may just be the year I try to do at least 3 cruises.
I'm looking at 2009 for one. I don't think we can do one in 2008. Family reunion and other things. I've started checking out 2009, but so far they only have booking available for spring of 2009, nothing further out than than. Just have to wait and see.

As soon as we are back from our cruise in May of 08, I am looking for another one for 2010. 2 years apart is good for me. Probably the Southern Carrb. We have only done Carnival also. I do love that cruise line.
What is best...booking with a Travel Agent or Carnival? We have done both and I really like going through Carnival so far, but of course we haven't gone on this cruise yet. I don't know what the final price will be until August or maybe Sept. That is when the discounts are all applied.
What are the perks of booking early? Do you get more perks, better rates, up grades and discounts by going with a Carnival Vacation Planner or a Travel Agent?

I am in the process of talking with my TA for a cruise the week of February 26 (2009) out of Galveston on the Voyager of the Seas. I already have about 8 people coming with us to help celebrate my 60th birthday.
