If you have never read a Trip to the Beach, you really should, it's a wonderful cruise book...A couple from Vermont, leaves the lucrative food manufacturing business, and went to Anguilla, to start a very upscale restaurant, called Blanchards, this leads me to my question.
If you had the means and desire, to move to an island, [our own chatter Ed] is doing just that. What island, would be your new home, and why.
Would you open up a business? I know, in Aruba, you would need an Aruban to go in with, but..would you consider a restaurant/cafe, a gift shop, maybe? Or, would you absolutely relax, maybe garden,or enjoy that hobby, you never had time for before? Travel, but, from a new home base?
Does, this even sound like something you would/could enjoy?
Trip, with her book & tea!

My favorite dive area is the Cayman Islands.
Would like to open a dive resort on Cayman Brac or little Cayman. There are lots of great dives on these islands. very beautiful!
Grand Cayman in over flowing with dive shops and cruise ships.
btw, I just heard that Spanish Bay reef is closing for good. How sad.
I would live on Santorini Greece from Mid April thru Mid October and open up a small cafe featuring New Orleans style cooking
In the winter I would live on Tortola from mid October thru mid April and open up a small cafe featuring New Orleans style cooking with an internet cafe for cruisemates to upload their daily adventures
