More fun drinks
Hi all, here are a few more fun drinks to try....
• 1oz Cruzan banana rum
• 1oz cream of coconut
• equal parts, o.j. pineapple,cranberry
In an ice filled shaker tin add ingredients, shake and pour into an icy pilsner glass and splash with grenadine. Garnish with a bamboo umbrella, and dream away the day.
• Brians Banana Split
• 1/2oz Cruzan Banana Rum
• 3/4oz Stoli Vanil Vodka
• 1/2oz Dark Creme De Cocao
• splash of cream
put all ingredients into shaker, shake well and strain into chilled martini glass, garnish with chocolate swirl glass and a slice of banana
• Banana Split
• 3/4 oz Godiva Liquer
• 1 1/4 oz Cruzan Banana Rum
• 1/2 oz Kahlua
• 2 parts milk
• Banana Rama
• 3/4 oz Cruzan Banana
• 3/4 oz Cruzan Mango
• splash sour
• splash cranberry
• splash Sprite
• Rummy for your Tummy
• 1 oz Cruzan Banana Rum
• 1 oz Cruzan pineapple rum
• 1 oz pineapple Juice
• 3 chunks fresh pineapple
Creamsicle is good too:
Cruzan vanilla, Cruzan orange, OJ, splash of 7-up or Sprite

Who knows how to make a (Seabreeze)?
I had it on the Island Princess and I've forgotten how to make it. It was quite tasty and went down like water.
One of each, please.
A Seabreeze is made by mixing 1 jigger of Vodka, some Cranberry juice and a small quantity of Grapefruit juice.
A Baybreeze is made by mixing 1 jigger of Vodka, some Cranberry juice and a small quantity of Pineapple juice.
The above can be made to taste regarding the juices.
I'm in an Italy frame of mind. So I found a recipe for making Limoncello.
Authentic Italian Limoncello
1 liter of Everclear alcohol
10 medium to large lemons
1 1/2 liters of water (6 1/3 cups)
3 lbs of sugar (6 1/2 cups)
Wash the lemons with a vegetable brush and hot water to remove any reside of pesticides or wax; pat the lemons dry. Using a potato peeler, take all the lemon rinds off of the lemons so there is no white pith on the peel. Place the rind-peelings in a large container with the Everclear alcohol. Cover the container and let it sit for seven days.
On the eight day, strain the the peels from alcohol; discard peels.
In a large saucepan, make a simple syrup by combining the water and sugar; let it simmer "fast" for 15 minutes. Let simple syrup cool to room temperature. Add to alcohol. Let stand at room temp overnight, strain and chill. Place in bottle with a air tight stopper. You could use Vodka instead os Everclear but use 80 proof, also suggested to increase lemons to 15 for more lemon flavor. If you can find it organic Lemons are best.
This recipe is from one of the cruise lines,but I'm not sure which one. It makes a small pitcher and can be easily doubled or tripled for larger parties.
1 cup gin
1cup peach schnapps
2 cps sweet&sour mix
1/2 cup cranberry juice
Mix first four ingredients together; squeeze in juice from 1/2 lemon, then use a spoon to scoop lemon pulp into pitcher. Serve over crushed ice.
This was served to me at bridge one night as " Cayman Lemonade". No mention was made of liquor and you can't taste it. I was happily swilling down my second LARGE glass of the best lemonade I ever tasted when I realised my legs wouldn't work to go to the next table. So be careful and be warned!
My DW's favorite is a screw-up. Simply a Screwdriver with a spash of Seven-Up.

Having a Mom that was raised in Cuba, this was a popular drink in our family. Here is the recipe. Spiced rum would ruin it. White rum only!!!
Mojito is a traditional Cuban cocktail which became popular in the United States during the late 1980s, and has recently seen a resurgence in popularity.
A mojito is traditionally made of five ingredients: spearmint, rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime, and carbonated water. Its combination of sweetness and refreshing citrus and spearmint flavors are intended to mask the potent kick of the rum, and have made this clear cocktail a popular summer drink. Many hotels in Havana also add angostura bitters to cut the sweetness of the mojito; while a popular variation, it is not the original version created in La Bodeguita del Medio.
To make a Mojito, juice from a lime is added to sugar and mint leaves in a tall glass. The mixture is then gently mashed repeatedly with a muddler. Crushed ice is then added, followed by rum and topped off with club soda.
The word mojito is derived from the diminutive of the word mojo.
