I went to the Madeira Cam and there is a ship in port. My question is who knows what ship this is?

Not sure which exact ship but it is P&O Oceana. Had to look it up.

At first I thought it was a MSC ship, the funnel area from this pic looked like it.

You are right. This is fun because Madiera has a web cam looking at the Oceania and Oceania has a webcam looking at Madiera island.

That one is easy: The Aida. I've seen her in a few ports. The first time was in Tahiti. I think she's sort of cute.

I sailed on the Ocean Princess, just before she was transfered to P&O and renamed the Oceana.

Mike which Aida ship though?
The have the AidaVita,Aidaaura, Aidablu and tha Aidacara. They all have the face painted on them.

I've seen bot the Aidavita and the Aidablu in the Caribbean.

You got me there: I really thought they were the same ship.. I've seen the ships in the Caribbean and Tahiti and actually thought they were the same.

I haven't Goggled yet but when I first saw it I thought it was part of Hapaag Lloyd ship since I saw "Cruise Fahrten" (Cruise Travel) under the Aida logo.

Stupid cruise ship in the first picture sailed away. Mehawk and Gofishgriff you don't expect it to hang around in the frame all day do you? (Harry Potter reference) The frame will be empty until Sept 2. The next ship should look like this
I will accept "Aida" of the second ship it is the Aida Aura the eye follows you. The eye follows you. I think the Aida is cute nice lips. Leave it to the germans.

Fred Olsen Cruises, Boudicca.

The name is on the bow.

I have relatives, in England, that love Fred Olsen and have done their cruises out of the UK and the Mediterranean. I have heard good things about their, older ship, the Black Watch. I would love to travel one of these, older, liner type vessels.

I should explain the missing cruise ship I did the properties of a web cam picture and used that URL. As the webcam updates the picture changes. There is a time and date stamp on the bottom of the picture. Tomorrow morning it should be daylight again. It's kind of fun. I didn't know it would do that. It's an everchanging photo. So there was a cruise ship but it sailed out of the photo.

Thank goodness you straightened that out - I thought I was the only one seeing NOTHING at the dock! Trip, I have to agree - Ugly of the Seas!

I also love the Harry Potter reference, of course the ship left the frame, it can't just hang around all day!

Many ancient maritime cultures believed that a ship without an eye would lose its way. The belief appeared widespread from the Med coasts to the Asian coasts of the the Pacific.

Seahunk that is an interesting fact. The Aida is the only cruise ship I have seen with an eye. Hey guys if you look at the first picture it's daylight again. Okay you guys got my first two ships to fast I think I got a harder ship for you to guess.
