Ray, I think you are going to need a lot of "patience" to wait for someone to provide the answer to this one.
However, I must say that this is yet another wonderful place that you have been to that I want to get to someday.

I'm afraid that any guess I would have would be so far off base, I would be . The first thought that came to mind would be a bedroom in a monestary.... ? However, since I have never been in a monestary and don't believe I have ever seen the picture of a bedroom, I may just be rambling!
I bow to the worldly travelers of this board!.......

I will venture a guess that it is possibly in Turkey, but beyond that not a clue.

India came to mind first but could be Turkey. And it sort of looks like a display of how a room would be set up for funeral.

As I said, you have to be very "patient" to figure this one out. With Ray's pictures, we all feel "tested." Ray considers it his "job" to provide us with wonderful pictures from around the world.
As for location, that is tough. I would never have guessed without research. I had always wondered why cruise ships go into this small port about halfway between Muscat and the Gulf of Aden. Of course, this is one place you can find "frankincense." I wonder if it would make a good gift.

Frankinsince is burning and has been for a few years. This is JOB'S TOMB. He was burried here many centurys ago. This is in a small building located on top of a mountain about 8 miles or so out from Salalah, Oman. Marc is right on the location. We taxied up and the driver did not get lost. We passed through barren desert country side. Came back and visited the local markets. I have some pictures of that.
