Where is everybody this morning? I thought I may have gotten to work early.
Not much going on today. I got a lot of painting done yesterday, so maybe I can get done soon. I'm sure DW will find other things for me to do. She has been talking about painting a couple rooms inside. Yuck!
Tomorrow we are going shopping for some new furniture. Always a fun time...almost as much fun as shopping for a new car. (Which reminds me, we are going to do that too.)
It is so foggy out this morning. I was in the clouds walking the dog this morning, I was surprised how much moisture the air had. The weatherman promises 80 by noon - so I'll try and plan my day in order to get some sunshine in the afternoon.
Today is a work from home day, which is a blessing as I only got two hours of sleep last night. The muscle relaxer helped for about a week and a half, now my jaw is "clunking" again, on both sides. This isn't a good thing. I hope physical therapy will help it.
Morning Eddie, Jen, and all to come!
It's another beautiful day in Montreal, good enough for shorts and flip flops again. I could take this right up to Christmas!
Had a wonderful dinner out last night (baby back ribs!) with an old friend.
We don't live far from each other, but hardly ever get to see each other, so it was nice to play "catch up". Oh, and she had me try a Cosmopolitan - a true "girlfriends" drink! Mmmm boy, was it good!
It's Friday, and I'm glad the week is almost over. Very much looking forward to tomorrow when we return to Nova Scotia. Short visit, but hopefully a productive one!
Floridanamaw, thanks for the gorgeous pictures! Too bad something so pretty is the forerunner of something so destructive. I loved Ray's pictures of his Florida room too. Our cruisemates do so much to lift each other's spirits..... one of the main reasons I come here. Lovely, cool morning here in Arkansas, sitting in my sunroom(Florida room to you, Ray) drinking my Earl Gray tea like Trip. Housecleaning day today and I have to take my mom to get her hair cut at 4:00....... ya'll have a good one!
It's a windy day here in the land of 10,000 thunderstorms. We had a nice one yesterday. I actually saw a funnel cloud for the first time in over ten years. It was north of my place and did no damage.
Today will be a "I don't know day." I should suck up Kramer's hair and dust but I just don't feel like doing it. I may just say to heck with it and talk Betty into going for a drive but she's immersed in another refinishing project and with the toxic fumes of the paint stripper, coming from the garage, I can't get within twenty feet of her. Even though I do like it when she has that "Darth Vader" look going.
I hope everyone has a great day and a wonderful weekend.

Jake made it home this morning from Chicago. The plane flew out of Chicago last night, but by the time they got to Milwaukee there was a large fog bank over the airport, and the plane had to return to Chicago. So close, and yet so far away. He caught the train back up to the Milwaukee airport this morning and picked up his car and made it home. Then we noticed that his car had been hit while it was parked at the airport, and now after a $2,000 estimate, we are setting it up for repairs.
Been a busy morning around here. Hopefully the rest of the weekend will be quieter.
