“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Good Morining all!!! My Eagles soared in thier quite ugly "throwback" uniforms. They can come out dressed in any color they like as long as they play like that!!!!!
We had a scare with my wife's Seabring Convertible Saturday. We heard as she was accelerating a very noticible knock in the engine . We took it to the garage next door and the mechanic took it for a test drive. He then started examining around the wheels (we recently had it in for replacement of the tie rods. He then grinned and pulled out a small tree branch. .
Hope everyone has a great day and here is a beach to get Monday off right:

Today is catch up day. Earl is home from the hospital, catching up on his sleep. I have plenty of house work to catch up.
only 3 weeks till our next tour, New England and Canada. This time be motor coach. I wish it were a cruise
Have a good week folks..
Though it is officially fall, the temps in northern Vermont will again reach close to 80 today. Hard to know how to dress. Seems to warm to wear the rich, dark colors of my fall wardrobe, but seems silly to be wearing all the brights and summer patterns now that it is so late in September.
Had a busy weekend. Saturday we spent the aftenoon closing the pool, then set up for the games at church for the BBQ. After we got everything set up we went to my sil home for Supper.
Sunday was a long day - had a great service in the morning, then a fantastic Chicken BBQ with all the sides and tons of dessert. Got home about 3:30. Then we visited with our neighbor who arrived home, safe and sound, from his tour of duty in Iraq, on Saturday. Got all the stuff unloaded that we had lugged up to church. Had time to catch our breath then head back to Church for our evening service. It was a concert by four of the teens in our church, they are very talented and it was enjoyable.
Today will be busy also. Must clean! Then will have to make something for our monthly Womens Ministry Potluck at church tonight. Also have an appointment with our insurance agent late this afternoon. Then off to Church for the dinner/meeting.
The rest of the week seems about as busy.
Awoke to more good news this morning. My nephew's unit is now safely out of Iraq too! They are scheduled to arrive back in Vermont later this week. I can't wait to see him. He has been deployed for 14 months.
RD - sorry your trip fell thru this weekend and you had all that cleaning to do.
Laura - you must be very excited for your upcoming cruise
Doug - great pic as always.
Morning All, from Montreal, where the weather continues to be too good to be true! 8)
My weekend was a bit of a bust; didn't get out on our flight to Nova Scotia, so came home and cleaned (threw out junk) all day and night on Sat.
That aggravated an already present backache, so I spent all of Sunday resting with painkillers. I'm still aching, but at least the basement is cleaner!
Laura, I'm sure this week will feel like a long one, but what a prize at the end of it! Bon Voyage!
Nice pic Doug, wish I was there!
Miss KMM, you must be getting the same good weather as us, isn't it wonderful?
Carole, I didn't know Earl was in hospital, is he OK?
Going to be a busy day, doing all those little things that need to be done -- call the bank, mail a couple of letters, do some laundry, trip to the cleaners, pick up a pair of shoes. It's that never-ending list of "stuff" that needs to be done!
Carole, I'm sorry to hear that Earl was in the hospital! I hope he continues to improve.
Doug, Sure wish my plans included a few hours at the beach in your picture!
Laura, have a wonderful cruise! You'll be on that ship before you know it!
