AR, thanks for the insight on Dancing With The Stars. Im a good ballroom and latin dancer and I didn't notice if there were cuts, but I wasn't watching closely. If this is done, it hardly seems fair to the millions watching - so much for being live and natural. I will definitely watch more closely in the future.

MSMARVEL - what, Philadelphia has a football team!!??

DWTS is supposed to be live. I haven't noticed any lack of continuity, just some bad camera angles with somebody's head in the way. hmm, have to look more closely.

Yes we have a team! Didn't you see Ace Ventura: Pet Detective?? When he was in Miami trying to find Snowflake, the football game was the Dolphins vs. Eagles. lol

There's a new one that is new to Americans stations called Kitchen Nightmares. I've been watching this series on BBC for a while now and can't wait to see what Ramsey will do in the US.

That's right. I heard that as bad as the places were in the UK, they're much worse here. He's a trip to watch, but I'd probably cry if I worked with him. lol I liked Hell's Kitchen too.

Ramsey apparently had an accident on the weekend and burnt his "private parts" while cooking at home.
He had to go to hospital for tretment.

Yes, I remember Ace Ventura, the Pet Detective. Watched it with my kids many years ago and I actually enjoyed it. Big fan of Jim Carey; I saw him in Vancouver doing stand-up before he became famous - he was very, very funny.

Your Eagles broke out and scored 56 points on the weekend. Like my Vikings they have been close many times, but no cigar. Cheers...Jim.

The only show I have ever seen of any of those mentioned is CSI Miami.I occasionally catch that on A&E. I mostly stick with A&E, History Channel, Food Channel, Travel Channel and MSNBC.

This is a little late, but I just saw this thread.
On Mon. in the summer I watched The Closer and Saving Grace, but now they are in reruns so I just watch CSI Miami. I'll watch them again in Jan. Sometimes I watch HGTV earlier in the evening, but mostly I am on the computer till 10.
Tues. I usually have choir practice from 7-8:30, so don't see all of NCIS. But then House and Law and Order SVU
Wed. Criminal Minds and CSI NY. Bones is supposed to be on also at 9, but keeps getting bumped. I wish it would change back to 8.
Thurs. Ugly Betty, either CSI or Grey's Anatomy, Without a Trace
Fri. I used to watch Ghost Whisperer, but now am totally hooked on Meerkat Manor (ANPL), the best soap opera on TV, lol. Moonlight and Numbers. When Monk and Psych come back on in Jan. I will watch them again.
Sat--don't watch unless a CBS rerun that I haven't seen yet.
Sun--HGTV 8-9, Cold Case, Shark
I used to tape shows that I missed, but now watch them on the computer.
Each network, including cable shows full episodes at the click of a mouse.

College football, any team, any day.
CNN, any news, any day.

Aside from that, I wish I could save money by being able to turn the cable TV off and just keep the high speed internet access when football season was over.
