Leaving on a jet plane...

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go, I'm standing here... OK well you guys know how the rest of that song goes.

Tonight we fly south to Miami, I am hoping to share a meal with Mr. & Mrs. Kuki tomorrow, if Kuki is feeling up to it, since it sounds as though he is valiently trying to fight off a cold bug. I have wanted to meet them for as long as I've been a Cruisemate.

Sunday we hop aboard the Pearl and D/H is still none the wiser about my suite surprise. Last night we were driving over to Champaign for dinner and I asked him, hey what do you think our chances are we'll get upgraded to an oceanview or a balcony? He looked at me and shook his head, he says you know that's not going to happen. Even though we got spoiled by the balcony on our last cruise, we'll just have to be happy with an inside cabin on this cruise. I said OK and tried to hide my permagrin.

I'll let you guys know what his reaction is, if I can successfully keep this a secret until we board on Sunday. Luckily I've kept him too busy to get into the cruise stuff. I have a few things to do yet and we'll leave here about 4:30 and head for Indy.
