Default Our Christmas lights

They don't dance around to music, but they still look pretty good. The grandkids enjoy them and we do once we get them up and all running like they should.

That is so pretty! I would totally stop and stare at your house if I was driving by.

Oh my, that's a lot of lights! Puts my single string strung through the "stick" tree to shame!
Nice job Floridanamaw!

My DD was asked by her place of employment to make some Christmas decorations and decorate the outside of the building. She was an art minor in college and got the artistic talent genes from her grandfather, my dad. Here is a picture of the real estate office she works at and the artwork she did. SIL cutout the plywood figures, and she painted them and the lollipops were painted on foam board.

Very nice. If I tried to paint anything like that it would look like a 5 year old did it. I do much better with strings of lights and moving reindeer. By the way, I work in a real estate office also as a secretary/bookkeeper and anything else they want me to do. I've been there almost 20 years.

, me too!
She became a real estate agent this year and so far loves it! She got her feet wet in local, small town politics last Nov. by running for our county's Clerk of Court in NC. Out of over 1300 votes cast, she lost only by 61 votes.....ran against a "good 'ol boy" who was in the court system as a magistrate for 17 years, and she had virtually no experience (other than being married to a deputy), so it wasn't a great loss by any stretch of the imagination. The town is still talking about the whipping she gave him....lol.
