Default Interesting Factoid

While onboard the Gem last week, I learned an interesting fact, and, I am betting I am not alone in never having heard it before.

In NCL advertising, there is a school of fishes...all are swimming in one direction, except for one whilte fish. The white fish is expressing NCL's idea that their line is swimming against the tide, with new ideas, and they are proud of it..It also is expressing the NCL passenger, that thinks a bit outside the box!

When I learned this, I thought, how clever, and true, this bit of subliminal patting on the back to the line, and its guests.

I was just looking at the article about that ship on the front page. I felt like I needed to put my sunglasses on to look at the pictures. Are the public spaces really as garish as they appear in those snapshots? I'm all for a bright and breezy atmosphere, but from those photos the whole ship looks like the children's play area.

No, while the colors are bright, they really work well together and are not as bright as it came through.... But this is definetly not what I would call reserved decor, it's fun and spirited.....

A few details I liked were the tangerine color louvered cabin doors, and the rugs by the cabin are royal blue, with an undersea design. The stairs to the luxe cabins was a bright jewle green, a bit out of the ordinary, but what fun! Also lots ot teal and rasberry....

If you are a neutral lover, this ship could change you over;)

I am with Trip. I love NCL colors and I dislike sedate hotel boring. They are fun colors, you would not do your home in them, but t is fun! AR it really isnt so hard on the eyes in person!
