I will wish you all a Merry Christmas now too, because I fear we may be without power in the next 24 hours! The rain is heavy, and the winds are extremely strong, and if it gets colder and turns to ice, we are in big trouble as far as power failures go!
Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday with family and/or friends!
Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. May it be Merry and Bright, filled with only good thoughts and happy memories.
Delfthuis - I love the wooden shoes! My kids brought some home from Germany, tho' theirs are just natural wood. We should put them under the tree next year.
DD also brought home a huge bag filled with German Cookies and chocolats from the Thanksgiving visit with my sis-in-law. She is from Germany and buys all these goodies at the commissary, she was kind enough to stock my dd up for the holidays. The remind me of Sue, who hasn't posted in quite a while.
The family all just left after Christmas Eve brunch........ KatLady, you would have loved it! I did good...... I'll share the details another time. My DD and family gave me a gift card from our favorite local coffee house and a promise to find me something good in NOLA on our trip. DH got warm flannel PJ's as he says I keep the house too cold........ my DD is also warm-natured so she has pity on him.
Have candlelight service to sing for and I'm done....... hope everyone has as happy and blessed a holiday as we have had...... most of our loved ones close and the rest we will see Saturday. Peace and Joy to you all!
Merry Chrismas to all you cruisemates. and a happy new year as well. I have enjoyed reading all your posts. keep them coming in 2008.

It's 11:23PM and guess I'm the last outpost before Santa arrives!! I've just finished wrapping the last of Trevor's gifts. I didn't have much time to shop after the cruise so he'll have some "fun" ones to open. He just went to bed so I can sneak them out to the living room!!
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Merry Christmas. I'll be off to my daughters in a little while to watch the kids open TONS of things that will all be forgotten in a matter of days. I would LOVE to be sitting on a ship someplace in the middle of the ocean just watching the world go by. AAH, maybe one day. I hope everyone has a great day.
