I'm sorry if I worried any of you with my absence.....after Kaitlyn recovered, my friend, Sharon, called. Her husband has been ill for years with an undiagnosed illness. He succumbed to pneumonia at 2:15 AM on New Year's Day. I have a close friendship with three women, Sharon being one of the three. We have spent the last two weeks at Sharon's helping where we could. We spent New Year's Eve with her and stayed when Roger took a turn for the worse. He died at home with his family around him.
His wake was last night and the funeral was today. We have been cleaning and washing since New Year's Eve as her family from other states arrived. We are at her house now, spending the evening with her as her family slowly heads for home. Tonight will be as difficult for her as any other.
I've missed all of the football games, but I did squeeze a few moments out of my day to have tiger heads painted on each of my fingernails! I am ready for the BIG ONE!

Mel sweety, glad to hear you are back with us. I sent out the search party a while back and Kat and Csis reported that you were alive and kicking so I figured I'd leave you in peace. So sorry to hear about your friend's loss. She is so lucky to have a friend like you to help get her through it. Take care, and hang in there girlfriend.
So sorry to hear of your good friend's loss. Sometimes things come at you so quickly that you don't see it. I have that T-shirt. Glad that you are ok though.

Mel, I am not sure what is going to happen. The Spirit is having technical difficulties and there is a possibility they may cancel our cruise. Jury is still out but the signs are leading me to believe that may be in the cards. I will keep you in the loop my dear.
