Default Anyone reconize this plant.

Name the plant and say where it may be found.

Is it possibly Silversword on Mt Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii?

I call it a Glass Plant. The proper name maybe Silversward. I photographed it on the road to Mt Haleakaha on Maui, HI. Laura is correct.

Nuts. When I read the original post I knew right away, then I saw that Laura got it first. That's one of the few botanical questions I would ever get right, but that plant is so distinctive that it's virtually unforgettable once you've seen it. And some of them get quite large up toward the top of the hill. That volcano is truly an amazing place, worth the drive up no matter how many times you visit Maui.

AR I just loved that tour up there. If I ever get to Hawaii I plan to do that tour again. I too would probably have gotten any other botanical question wrong. but that plant stuck in my mind all these years. It is so unique.
