Good morning from the sunshine state! I have been up very early.Had a long day yesterday and another one today.I bought my Smart car yesterday, picking it up today Which meant I had to give up my 1999 beetle. But at 153,000 miles it was time!
Booked the wedding yesterday too at a country club. It will be a beautiful event with a "butler" passing out champagne and having a wonderful dinner with carvings stations etc.
Beautiful sunny day around here. It's going to cloud over later so Wendy and I are headed to the beach to soak up some rays this morning. This will be her last chance to do that before she heads back to Cape Cod tomorrow.
Have a good one all, and drive safe and take care if you are in those snowy icy places.
We are on high alert here for the upcoming storm. I'm not too excited yet, sometimes they get so overzealous and it turns out to be nothing. The western half of the state has cancelled school today I see by the running closures on the bottom of the tv screen. It hasn't started here yet, but is scheduled to soon. There is a lot of moisture in the air.
If they get the ice it could be bad with lots of power outages, but if it is just snow, we will be okay. Time will tell.
Sorry that some of you guys have been really hit hard!
Sue - congratulation on booking a site! I'm sure it will all be beautiful
Theta - have fun at the concert. Enjoy it while it lasts. My noisy musicians are in college now, and how I do miss the rehearsing.
Phyll - How I'd love to be on a beach today - it is so grey here.
Angela - thanks for inquiring - the prednisone is making me feel pretty rotten, but I know that is too be expected. I just know that I won't be catching up on the paperwork any time soon, as my head is swimming and I have the attention span of a gnat.
