Default Magnetic doors on the Valor?

Hello all you wonderful people:
This is a rather old question that was posted a few months ago.

It wasn't clear if the Valor's cabin door are magnetic or not? I do remember it was said that the frame and the walls might be. I am taking some Pittsburgh magnets to attach to the cabin doors and if I don't have to bring tape, that would be one less thing to pack.

Thanks for all your answers in advance.

Darlene

I'm not ABSOLUTELY sure of this, but I'm relatively sure that the doors are metal, and your magnet will stick to them. If not, I'm also relatively sure that they will highly frown upon your sticking tape to their door, or walls, as they don't want any residue left to mar the door. I know that was the case aboard other ships, and I've sailed "Valor" but as I stated, I'm not absolutely sure. Take the magnets, and take the tape as well. (It can't take up that much space)

I was going to pack the tape just in case. Just scotch tape not duct tape.

I also remember reading a little while ago about taking door posters. I think they would have to be taped if the doors weren't metal. I do like the idea of letting other cruisers know where you are from.

Thanks for the really fast answer.

Captain:
You make me laugh.
I don't think I will be able to carry my luggage if I pack all the good stuff
""

I will keep it down to a minimum.

Thank you Michael...

Looks like I will take some non-marking tape of some kind. Duct tape does leave a mark..

I remember reading a thread about decorating the cabin door. How were those posters kept on the door?

Instead of tape there is what we call "teacher's puddy" Some schools don't like tape on the walls so they tell the teachers to use this puddy. I am not sure if this would work or not. The door does have to be opened and closed a lot.
