Is it a reposition cruise sort of? I notice she is not going back to New York. Like is she coming back from Europe TA to New York and then going from New York to Miami for the winter? I guess I should not be lazy and check that for myself. Nice Itin, but to bad she doesnt go back to New York. Those living North East may like a cruise that goes back to New York as then they can drive to and from the port. I love NCL ships to be sure, thats JMHO, but it is really been the "one" for our needs. AH, if I could be on that breakfrast nook, outside right now looking at the sea.............we had such fun eating out there............I love it back there. We ate every morning there.

Sorry it doesn't suit you, but sadly we can't seem to find any ships that'll stop by everyone's house and pick them up
Seriously.. it is a repositioning cruise, and those are generally excellent deals. And this one getting as far south as Aurba and Curaco would take an extra two days to get back to NY. The itinerary and the pricing are what make this such a good cruise I think... and it's all over Halloween which will make it fun.
On the NY to NY cruise (which we did look at) the cruise lines are basically adding the cost one would pay for airfare to the cruise price.
This particular repositioning cruise at least allows people in both the North East, and Florida to only need one flight, rather than return flights.
Oh for sure, you can never get something that is perfect for every one!
We just love driving to the port,( not quite the ship coming to our door, its 7 hours total with stops each way,) coming back to New York and driving back home. It is so hassle free for us to drive each way. Thats why now we look for New York return , also more people can join us then as well.
Its a lovely itin, on a beautiful ship, and people will love Curacao and Aruba, at least I sure do, particularialy Curacao . I have family and friends from Holland who own homes on both islands. Both my grandparents homes are still there, but have been sold, but I still enjoyed showing them to my son, and showing him the sights and places from when I was a kid.
I love NCL and I doubt any one would be disapointed with this ship or this itin!

Oh so tempting..... LOVE the itinerary, and the ship is one we almost booked for our "freebie"! Have to think about the NY/Miami thing though....driving to NY would be great, but airfare home from Miami..... hmmmmm...
Hey, nothing's impossible.....and I sure would love to do Halloween with CruiseMates!
I'll have to wait and see what NCL does. I have a Transatlantic booked for Nov. There is scuttlebutt they are going to leave the Jade in Europe. If that happens, I guess there won't be a Transatlantic from Barcelona to NYC. In that case we may do a land trip to Italy. So we'll have to wait and see what happens.
Single supplement plus air that is a bit steep for me. I will stick to my Canal cruise next March. It does sound like a great cruise, wish I could do it.

I'll be so anxious to hear what everything thinks of this cruise. We have Jewel booked for Jan. 09 on a 9-night Southern Caribbean. I love this itinerary!
