Default no cabin assignment - 10 days away - unusual?

I'm booked on the Emerald Princess for 3/15 in an inside cabin - the single supplement rears its' ugly head once again, forcing me inside.

Booked a guarantee and still don't have a cabin assignment - think they're holding the Owners Suite for me? Any idea when I might get a cabin?

I would call the cruiseline or your travel agent and see if you have a cabin assignment, or check on-line. I have heard of people getting their cabin once they arrive at port too.

Yep, I'd call them, but it isn't highly unusual to get the cabin assignment once you get to the port. When you drop your "checked" luggage, the porter will have a list of all the cabin assignments, and he'll mark and install the proper luggage tags on your checked bags.
Have a great cruise.

This happened to us when we did a Hawaiian cruise with Carnival in 2006. I called our PVP and even she was stumped when she couldn't find our can assignment a week before we sailed!! All she could tell me was that the cruise was sold out. We were thrilled when we gat onboard and found we had been given an extended balcony! Made for a great 12 days!!!!

Hopefully you will have a similar experience.

Terri

I would wait and see what happens, because you can't get lower then an inside anyway, so your patience may pay off.
