Default Good Morning Monday - St. Patty's Day

Good morning CM's.

Where is everyone? Happy St. Patty's day to all those Irish descendants, and / or those Irish wannabes.

Hope everyone has a very "green" day today.

Good morning all.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

Anxiously waiting for Friday to come. My daughter is flying home for Easter.

We had a busy weekend as usual but had lots of fun.

My son is enjoying his new job. Especially since he already has gotten a paycheck.

Not much going on except work.

Hope everyone has a great and safe day.

Top o' the mornin' to all ye Irish (and everyone is today) lads and lassies! Despite my Anglo surname I have quite a bit of O'Flanagan in me. I will probably have a spot of Bailey's Irish Cream tonight.

DW Marj is sick and at home today so she is going to see if I actually work on my work at home days. We had to cancel Easter dinner yesterday (we took a week early to avoid conflicts) becuase she was feeling so bad. It all went back into the freezer and will be prepared sometime after Easter.

Only 47 days 'til Barbados, not soon enough

Everyone have a great Irish day!

Good Morning all and HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY

I'm off to an Easter egg hunt with the preschoolers, and then tonight I'll enjoy some corned beef and cabbage at the condo St. Pats party. Should be a busy day.

Good morning from Harrisburg Pa, where it is a cool, 27, but reported to be a very nice," spring " day.

I have to admit that I can not seem to adjust to the cold here. I always seem to be cold, except in the bed and the shower. I know it has a lot to do with the body, and how it adjusts, but burrrr.

Last night one of Jim's bosses came into town, to see how things were going. Except for the Christmas party, I have never been around him.

It is difficult to entertain someone in a motel with one room, and lots of plastic cups. I thought it might not be going so well, until Big Brother came on. I had muted it, so I could see what was going on, but not bother the guys talking. His boss said, Jim, your making me tired. Why don't you relax and let's watch BB. I didn't get to see it all last week."

I suddenly liked him. Anyone who thinks Matt is a jerk is good in my book.

Today, I am doing laundry for some of the folks here in Jim's group, including, drum roll..... The boss. I might have found a new job. Laundry lady.

personal note: My out going e-mail is being blocked, so those of you on my e-mail list. I can receive your e-mails, but I can't send. I have been using the CM PM system, so if you need to get in touch, reach me that way.

I hope all of you have a good day.

Luanne

I am up a little earlier than I have been since DST came in last week...... maybe my body is finally adjusting....... or it could be the game of TAG that the dog and one of the cats were playing down at the foot of the bed...... not to mention all the noise from the very high wind!

Happy St.Paddy's to all of you! Our SIL and two of his buds are playing at a local pub tonight so we will be going there and, as Doug said, getting on the outside of some Irish spirits. This will be the first time we have heard SIL's Celtic gig. He and his friends have been doing this occasionally for a couple of years under the name "Blue Fiddle" as our SIL plays a blue fiddle.....along with every other instrument known to man. It is an outgrowth of their bluegrass stuff.

Storms, of the thunder variety, predicted here today. Hope you have a better one where you are!

Top of the Mornin' to you all, from Montreal, where the sun is shining but it is a chilly -11C.
Here's a little Irish greeting for you all today:

When Emma saw this guy standing on our snowbank she barked her fool head off!

Irish, wherever you are on your cruise today, this is your day, enjoy!

MissKMM, I saw Toronto's parade on the news - no snow!

Phyll, do you mind if I ask, what the heck is that thing wearing the shamrocks?

Doug, hope Marg feels better soon.

Luanne, "they're" blocking you're outgoing e-mail? Talk about "Big Brother"!

Good Morning All,

Yesterday it was close to 40, but it was grey and damp and felt pretty miserable out. Today it is colder 19, but it will get a little warmer.

Lots to do, I didn't get much done during last week, so I'm still way behind. I've been exhausted since coming back from Florida. My jaw problems have stepped up, I think going from cold to hot to cold again is part of the problem. I have had to get back on the muscle relaxers, then it makes it hard to do very much as I'm so dull the next day.

Have a corned beef and cabbage to cook as well as a hair appointment.
Errands galore to get done and I should do some paperwork and make a stab at some cleaning. O, and get the suitcases put away now that they are unpacked.

Son just called to get instructions on how to cook the corned beef and cabbage - I guess he and his college roommates will be eating well tonight.

Hope you all have a nice day!

RD, that's a manatee mailbox. You see them around here in Florida. :-)
Seeing one with the shamrocks on it's head gave me a laugh so I thought I'd share it here.

Default Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Some of you have posted some great St. Patrick's decorations in this thread. I haven't figured out how to do that yet, but here's some clover wallpaper I made:

Vaughanster, I have edited your links to add at the beginning and at the end. That is how to post a link so that someone can go directly to it.
Same goes for photos, except with photos, you add [img] at the beginning and [/img] at the end. also, your photo must be downloaded into the CM photo gallery first.

donna

I just previewed this to see if it worked - no.

Good morning everyone.

Ah yes it's St. Patty's Day. I guess I will do something appropriate and eat the green thing in the refrigerator.

Today's agenda will be kid wrangling. The grandkids came over last night and they wanted to stay at "Grammagrandpa House". Sounds like a fraternity the way my grandson says it. He's probably hoping for beer and road trips.

Phyll: I do like the Manatee mailbox. I should get one for my place.

Well: I hear a kid awakening so gotta go.

BTW: Donna, I disabled the BBCode so your BBCodes show.
Take care,
Mike

Top of the morning to everyone - unfortunately it's raining here in Kansas - so all parade goers will be wet but I'm sure will warm up quickly in the local bars!! We're suppose to get this rain today and tomorrow as well with it starting to get nicer later in the week. DD and family are in town this week visiting and it was great to see them and have an early Easter dinner. Little grandson hasn't seen me since Nov so he was quite upset anytime I tried to hold him so I guess I'll have to let him warm up to me, I"ve got til Sat!! Everyone have a great day and a fun St Paddy's day!!!

Good Morning CruiseMates!!! Happy St Patrick's Day!
Just got back from working the weekend. I love that job. I wish I could work at that house every weekend rather than rotating weekends between 2 houses. Day off today and the cell phone is turned off today. I need time for me. Tomorrow thru Thurs I work the old job. Cruise fund is growing by hops and skips, I wish it were leaps and bounds! At least it is growing. Have a great day all.

Good morning!

I liked Doug's suggestion of Bailey's Irish Cream! Maybe in my coffee?

I have a lot to do today, the question is, how much will I get done? Wonder what I can put off? How is that for planning?

Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning cruisemates! Sunshine and temps in the mid 40s F for Calgary today.

Slept at my parents house last night. I'm home to grab a shower, and check my email, then will head up to the hospital to visit my mother.

Today will be day 4 of this new medication. Because it's a research project, each time they give it to her, 3 hrs later they do an ECG, and she's wearing a heart monitor. The close watch is to detect any negative impact of the drug. Apparently if there's problems being caused by the drug they appear within the first week. Knowing if it helps takes a month, but they only keep her until they're satisfied it's not creating problems.

So, if everything goes smoothly they'll send her home some time this week.

Been trying to convince her that it's time for me to get them live in help, but she's fighting me on that.

Good Morning Again, Kuki, I just saw your post. I was away for a few days and may have missed something. I gather from your post that your Mother is ill? Please know that I send prayers and good thoughts.
