Default TUESDAY MORNING!!

I woke up in a winter wonderland. The roads, roofs, cars, etc are covered with snow, I am afraid we made a timeshift overnight to X-mas
Luckily it does not last, althoug it makes a pretty picture now, the sky is clear and the sun is out, temp around 2 or 3 C, just nice.
Carole, it will get better coming weekend, temps will rise to 12 C

When I checked my email yesterday afternoon I found a mail from a site "schoolbank", where you can register your school and years you were there and see all the others that were registered. It turned out that my best schoolfriend during all schools registered and wanted to know how I am. I lost track of her when we were 19, I knew she was studying for fysiotherapist and somewhere down the years I heard she lived in Tilburg. So I googled and found her and called her on the phone. Boy, did we have a laugh, she turnes 50 in july and she plans to be away, she is right. We meet next month to catch up. It was good talking to her, so many years came by in a jiffy

Well, off to work!! CYA later!

Good Morning Jackie and all CMs' to follow

Well it is a cool 30 degrees here in lower Alabama, what crazy weather we are having. I have to leave early this morning so I can defrost my windows.

Have a great day.

Good morning from Orlando where it's also a little chilly here. I know these temps will be few and far between soon so I'll try to enjoy these. Today will be my last day at the office for this week. I'll spend the rest of the week in St. Augustine taking a class about mosquitoes. Too funny... I'll spend Wednesday and Thursday nights with Hayley in Jax. It'll be a bit of a drive to class from there but beats staying in a hotel in my book.....office accountant was also happy about that.

Good morning from Harrisburg Pa where it's a very cool 20 something.

It is sort of good to be back to our home base, which is what we are calling it. We have three weeks left here, and I realized this morning that I am getting sick of the same breakfast each morning. Tomorrow I will try to come up with a different combination.

We really enjoyed our trip, in spite of my back problems, and I will continue to work on my travelogue, and tonight we will try to add pictures.

I have a ton of dirty clothes to do today, so that should keep me busy. I also have a ton of new books, which is my guilty pleasure, when shopping.

I hope all of you are doing well.

Luanne

Hi Kids,
Bright and cool here today....no snow coming, and we have been snow free for a while now. The only thing I need to do is go get sesame seeds..I decided to make sesame chicken for supper, and don't have the main ingredient:(

Luanne, nothing beats a new book. Somehow, on vacation, the buying is even sweeter..I am trying to read 2 at once now, to beat the due date:):)

Make it a good one.
Trip, who is vcationing with Luanne, ans she doesn't even know it;)

Good Morning All,

It is unseasonably cold this morning, at 4 degrees! Rain, Snow, then more rain is on our Menu for Today thru Wednesday. Then supposedly we have a day off, the more snow for the rest of the week. It is hard to keep positive at this point.

Off too work in a few minutes. Yesterday I wasted the entire day, and I really don't feel too bad about it. My mind is kind of "mushy" lately.

Angela - a course on misquitos - topic may not be the greatest, but the setting is sure a plus!

Cheryl - glad your daughter will soon be home. Mine graduates in July, and then will come home until she figures out where/what she will do with the rest of her life...not much of a need for Classically Trained Soprano's in our area. Thank you for inquiring about my health. Having heart pains - those will disappear once my thyroid med's get my levels back to normal and once my potassium goes up. My doctors office called back yesterday, my regular physician saw the lab reports and will have me retested in 3 more weeks, not 6 weeks like his replacement wanted. I will be calling the jaw specialist today...things are getting progressively worse, and I seem to have a sinus issue at present. But all in all I think I'm ok - I'm stubborn and trying to remain positive.
How is your son doing?

Jacqi - isn't it wonderful to become reacquainted with old friends? I'm so glad that you "found" each other again. I will be seeing my best friend from High School this week. She will be in town to celebrate her mother's 80th Birthday! I'm very excited to see her and her newest addition to the her family of 9 children. Later in the week I will be attending a Surpise Party for another friend's 40th Birthday. It is a fun week to be sure!

Not too much exciting around my neck of the woods. We should be in the middle of sugaring season here, but the temps have been too cold. Today may be the day though. Even though we start at 4 it is supposed to raise to the 40's...perfect weather for the sap to run. Cold night, and warm days, make for good maple sugar. Our friend has a Sugar House, so I would imagine we may try to get out there soon, to watch the sap boil, and of course do some sampling. It will depend on how busy dh is...being on call it is so unpredictible. He never got home 'til after 10 last night.

Luanne - are you back from your whirlwind weekend yet?

I'm watching the Red Sox/Oakland Game...strange to be seeing it in the a.m. We are not winning. We need to step it up!

Kuki, how are your parents doing?

Trip you are on my heart today!

Hope everyone has a good day,

Morning All, from Montreal, where each day looks like the last. Sunny and very cold! Supposed to rain tomorrow, with flurries also likely.

Back to work today after a lovely long weekend. Only a 2 day work week for me, since I have a workshop to go to on Thurs. and I'm taking Fri. off to prepare to travel Fri. night.

nolou, yes, James is much better, he ate a big Easter dinner yesterday!

Good morning from chilly swfl...I just turned the heater on as it is only 70 in the house.Bbbbrrrrrr

Today I have to check in my daughter for tomorrows's flight. Yesterday she lost her phone somewhere at the beach...we are so mad. She has lost so many phones and broken them too that the phone company will not allow any insurance on her account anymore. Now we have to give her my dh cell for her trip to CO. Last week she lost her IPod...

I am soooo looking forward our little get away! However flying in a small plane isn't so great The paper say it has "turboprop" equipment

Have a good one mates!

Mornin' everybody,

I finally got a chance to get on the computer to check things out and to say hi.

I'm finally recouperated from the marathon singing during Easter week. I can finally talk again!

DW and I went looking at new cars, and we've decided on a Hyundai Sante Fe. Now comes the fun part...trying to make a deal. What a pain!

Gotta keep moving! It's harder to hit a moving target!

Have a great day!

Ed

Good Morning from WINDY Kansas, yep winds are gusting to about 35mph
so needless to say that's what woke me up this morning!! Suppose to get to the mid-upper 60's today - we'll see.

Weather wise we're on a roller coaster, warm one day then cold the next or with rain mixed in here and there - and I'm stuck in a windowless office!!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning from sunny but very chilly morning in SE Florida. It was 49 degrees when I got up, and when the sun decided to peek out it went to 52, should get to around 70 today and slowly warm up the rest of the week. As I keep saying, love Flroida winters. Feel bad for you poor people having such lousy weather. We had a girl run by us this morning in shorts and a tee shirt, I asked if she was cold and she said I live in Chicago, this is great weather!

Ed, the Hyundai is a nice car. Hope you get a great deal.

Jacki, have fun with your old school friend. I also have a very dear friend who's husband and I went to high school together. thats how I met her. We stay in touch and meet up whenever we can.

Angela, what can they teach you about mosquitoes that living in Flroida we don't know!

Wishing you all a good day.

Jeanne, dont feel bad for us, we are used to this weather.
I always said I would love to have summer yearround, but I love the change of seasons and the cold nights and crisp mornings.

Good morning from sunny but cold Virginia Beach. It is expected to be in the upper 50's today but will reach the upper 60's, tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will be nice in the Washington, D.C. metro area as we are headed there this weekend to attend our youngest granddaughter's firth birthday party. How time flies!

Jen---thanks for asking about my son. He passed his last (hopefully, knock on wood) stone at 4:00 am last Friday morning. I say last because when he had his most recent CT scan last December, there was only one stone left in the right kidney and NONE in the left.

Hopefully and prayerfully, he is over this whole kidney stone nightmare. He has been suffering with them since he was 17. He is now 23. I started suffering from them when I was about 19 but outgrew them when I was about 25 or so. I'm praying that he will do the same. They have been a total disruption of his young life.

You are in my continued prayers that you will be feeling great soon.

Default Tuesday Morning

Good morning from Southern California. No snow, no rain, no mosquito studies, no trips planned until May. Just a pile of laundry to do.

Have a good day, CM's.
