Good morning from the sunshine state. I am up early today as I have to check into tomorrows flight and print my boarding passes. Have to run to the kennel to board the dogs also. I am preaching this morning at church so we do have a full "plate" this morning.
Hope everyone is doing well and for those that had a busy week try to get some rest!
YAY! We fly out today for our Sea of Cortez yacht cruise! Itâs rain in the forecast here in Sacramento so we will be leaving behind the rain for sunny skies!
Just another day in Paradise here in beautiful downtown Lakeland, Florida. I don't know what kind of chores the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) has in store for me, but I can hardly wait to find out. I'm thinking that 6 months until out next cruise if far, far to long, so I'm looking at something in between. (Keeps me out of the bars.) 8)
Hope all my "Mates" have a GREAT weekend.
Good morning all CM's

Good Morning from Kansas where it's partly cloudy and very brisk out, but the birds are chirping so that's a good sign. Don't know what the day will bring!
I'm envious of everyone who's doing anything like cruising!!! I have to wait another 9 mo and 3 days!!! oh well......
Everyone have a great day and wonderful rest of the weekend!!!
Good morning CMs, another great dy sunny and nice temps in the 70's again. Love these Florida winters. Not much planned for the weekend. Take it a day as it comes. Ellis is BBQ steaks today for dinner. Other than that, its a day of R7R for me. Wishing you all a great weekend, safe travels for everyone who is leaving/crusing etc.
It's a sunny but cool morning here in upstate NY, where we got thruogh the sloppy snow yesterday without wrecking our cars.
Speaking of cars, we are still hunting for a new car for DW. We drove the Hyundai several times, but we could not feel comfortable in it so the search goes on. We are going back to the Jeep dealer, and we will probably end up with another Grand Cherokee. There is a silver one on the lot that DW likes, so the search will probably be over.
Other than that, not much going on around here. Just waiting for spring to arrive. The robins are very confused with the snow on the ground. Maybe it's the frozen worms!
Good morning from Southern California where the sun seems to be awakening just when I am.
Bon Voyage to all you lucky cruisers. My cruise is still a long way off.
I cancelled my manicure yesterday, and Keith and I went to Pasadena for lunch and monkeying around. No plans for today, either, except for a good book.
Well, I'm back from Dallas and sick as a dog....... dripping, sneezing, coughing, wheezing...... all 'at stuff.
Surgery went well, but she was on the table for almost 8 hrs. and they did have to cut into the dura so post-op infection is a real issue. That's why they sent her home not quite 48 hrs. after they finished. But she was eating and drinking and walking the halls so I guess it will be okay.
I never saw two doctors (neurosurgeon & plastic surgeon) so proud of themseves about what a good job they had done and how much it was going to help her........ but I guess finishing an 8 hour surgery and the patient is alive and things went well is kind of a high.
