I put up some pictures of the resort. WE both liked it very much and only found very little to complain about. It's hard to compare it to a cruise because it is so different. Price wise a cruise will win, it was a lot more than a 7 day cruise for 2 people. However it was different and not a lot of people<but the resort was fully booked> There are no TV'S, alarm clocks and phones are not allowed<except at the bungalow>
Spa was nice, had a wonderful hot stone massage. Service almost perfect.Food was very good but very expensive. We had the prepaid meal plan. We had chips at the pool with salsa $29!!! Now thats crazy
On our way back to Key West we had just one hour to stop on Duval street to eat a burger at the Hard Rock Cafe and buy a Key Lime cake at the cake store.
We will try to go back there perhaps end of year. Enjoy the pictures!
Sue, since you enjoyed Little Palm Island so much, next you should try a luxury all inclusive cruise. Although the upfront costs may be a bit more, you won't be charged $29 for chips and salsa nor will you have to add tips.

Marc I had thought about it in the past. However I like the fact we did not have tons of people around us. WE still cruise but I like Disney because of the Service and no gambling. We could not go on a cruise since my passport expired. I have to go to the German embassy and apply for a new one all the way in Miami.
The resort is very nice and I like the fact that it will never feel crowded so to speak.
