I am curious how you may have come up with your user names on this site. Mine is Mountain Dog because I love Berneese Mountain Dogs. There are some very unique names I have noticed.
My name isn't very unique, but it sure is self-descriptive! When I joined CM, I was so anxious for my cruise, the refrain of "I'm ready to go NOW" kept running through my head, so it seemed logical. And it still does!

When we first got our computer back in 96...my husband got it up and running....so he picked the name....oy, if I could have a do over, I would have a real sparkly name....maybe MissBling:):)
Tri~Pearl is the company my husband started. Tri meaning hubby and 2 sons, and Pearl our last name...3 is just the ditto....while I thought up that name, and liked it for the company, I don't think it fits me ...It soon evolved into Trip, which for a cruise website, it fits perfectly:) You yell Trip, on a ship, and I will come running;) I have a a couple of other names registered, one which is CruiseYenta:)

I have used Irish-Scouter on my ID or just Irish. Irish for my heritage as I am into genealogy and Scouter because I was a Scout leader for many years, both of my boys are Eagle Scouts and all of us are Order of the Arrow members D/W included.
My name is very simple to explain. I am crazy about cruising so CRUZNUT it is. There was already a CRUZNUT here so I took CRUZNUT2.
I also had CRUZNUT on my license plate when I was in NH. I was lucky enough to be able to get CRUZ NUT for my plate here in Florida. On other sites I go by OceanGoingGal.

Mine is my name of course, but when I joined Cruisemates, I had never been on any site. It asked for your screen name, so I gave it to them. I have often wished I had been a little smarter.
Like Irish, I too am of Irish heritage on my mother's side (German on my father's), and I read somewhere that inis was gaelic for "island". Might have read that on the box of the perfume I use named "Inis" that also is imported from Ireland.

Venice Italy is my favorite city on earth and when I really miss it I take a ride to Venice, Louisiana and stand in front of the sign with Venice on it
Someone on this site a long time ago asked about my screen name, she had pictured me wearing rollers in my hair!
I had to set her straight and post this photo of me circa 1970's with my beloved brand new rollerskates. Yes, I was a rink rat during the disco era and still occasionally visit the rink for old times sake!
When I signed up, it asked for my screenname and at the time I was using mehawk. It is the first initial of my first name, the first initial of my ex's first name and a nickname of my last name... Hawk for Hawkins.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.
Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
When I signed up on cruisemates I put down the first thing that came to mind! I should of thought about it for a minute before just typing anything. Too late now to change it.
However my nickname is CQ and I kinda like that!
Mountain Dog - I love the Berneese Mountain Dog Breed. Never owned one but will in the future.
RD - Look at you with the skates - Love it!

Like Luanne, I wasn't very experienced on message boards, and so mine is my initials and my birthday. (At least I was smart enough not to use the year .
It would be nice if we could change our screen name without loosing our history, but, I am not very creative, so don't have a clue what I would use if I could change it!

My username is a hockey term, so you Canadians should pick it up. A defenseman in hockey is nicknamed a "blueliner", which is the position I played when I still played hockey.
Now I just referee hockey, don't play anymore. Since I'm mostly a linesman on the officiating crew, I kept the "blueliner" nickname.

Maybe Kuki, our all-knowing potentate, could help you with this. Ask him.

As most of you know, I'm a pilot, and a few years back I had a Cessna 206, "SkyMaster". It's a very unique aircraft, as some of you probably know. The "ramp rats" at the airport where it was hangered, sometimes couldn't remember my name, but they did know I was the guy who flew the SkyMaster, so they'd call me that. The name just stuck, and I've been "SKY", or "SkyMaster" ever since.
I recently went from brunette to blond and I luv the song Sister Goldenhair - I think America sings it? Thats where my user name came from.

Oh yeah - much better then BenGay HAHAHA. I have the body lotion too - luv that. You're lucky at least they noticed it smelled nice - in my house with 2 boys and hubby - I'd have to hang a pork chop around my neck to get them to notice that I smelled nice!!!!
